Very straightforward: this is a pub. As long as you're okay with pub style service and pub style food, you'll feel right at home. They have poker nights with three tables, a giant screen showing sports, electronic darts, and a pool table. Their draft selection trends toward domestic, but they had a few decent micros on tap (Diamond Knot and Ninkasi IPAs).
Pretty neutral straight down the line. I personally won't be back - not because I had a bad experience, but just because the vibe skews towards a late 30's crowd and I didn't see a lot of younger people around, and the tap selection wasn't as large as I prefer. The burger was standard, the fries were decent, and the prices were comparable with other bars. Â The bartender was all business - he didnt seem like much of a talker - and took our orders and served our food within a reasonable amount of time.
As long as you're not expecting one of those high class chef gourmand cocktail lounges masquerading as a pub, you'll like 13th Ave just fine.
Would not order food from here. Biscuits and gravy dry then they charge extra for gravy will go there to watch football but will never order food. I was a first time customer limited menu something was broken. Didnt open till ten i like to see pregame should be open at 930. ITS FOOTBALL SEASON GET A CLUE.
