I have lived in Edmonds now for 22 years and this town just slowly gets better, like a slowly simmering pot of goodness. Â The Edmonds Center for the Arts epitomizes the friendliness of Edmonds. Â I always feel like I'm going to run into someone I know here at the Center or strolling downtown. Â The ushers are smiling and ready to help. Â Craft beer from Gallagher's on tap in the lobby and you can take it to your seat as I was kindly informed by one of the pleasant lady ushers. Â There's not a bad seat in the house, except the first row in the balcony ... no leg room. Â The setting is intimate and the events and artists are first class. Â You're sure to find something on the calendar that works for you. Â Our MO is to drive the 10 minutes from home, arrive early, park close, have dinner somewhere downtown, and then walk back and see the show. Â It just ... doesn't ... get ...better.
