Big E Ales

Great little neighborood hangout! The food isn't spectacular, but pairs well with beer! If beer's not your thing, you HAVE to try the rootbeer. I've never received exceptional service, but I don't expect to be catered to at this type of place :)

We came here on a recommendation from a friend. The service was slow and the food was very heavy. The root beer was good but the food not so much. I would not recommend this as a place for dinning unless you live close.

Awesome beer and food!!  Loved it!  Had the bleu cheese burger and the hefeweizen.  Others in my group had the 2-pint IPA and the pale ale, beer brat, spicy chicken burger, chicken bites and waffle fries. I give all the food and the beer 5 stars!  Oh and  the kids had the root beer and the root beer shake - best root beer in the world!!  This place is a gem!

As a Seattle food and beer snob, I admit it, I wish I lived closer to Lynnwood!  Or Big E Ales was closer to Seattle!  Place was packed, doing a brisk business of sit-in diners and beer drinkers plus a steady stream of people coming in to get their growlers filled.  

Heading north on I-5 we were stuck in such awful traffic we decided to just get off in Lynnwood and find somewhere for a beer an a bite - wow!  We got super lucky with this place!  Had never heard of it and would never find it, tucked away in like a warehouse area.
