The Cadillac

I really wanted to like this place because it seems like where the locals go, but I just didn't enjoy it.  We came on a Sunday and the place was PACKED.  There is a really great priced brunch buffet - which in hindsight I wish I could instead of what I ordered.  The hostess was acting like we were an inconvenience that we wanted to order off the menu and not do the brunch and told us to wait for a table for inside.  We noticed that the tables outside were available and she just said fine sit there then.  Then we waited a while for the waitress to come over and acknowledge us.  At that point, we all knew what we wanted.  I ordered a club sandwich and it was just not good.  The bread wasn't toasted.  I asked for cheese on it and it didn't come with it.  Everyone else in my group just felt eh about their meals too.  The people next to us - and not that this can be controlled but - were smoking like it was their job.  And we all did not care for that.  The waitress was nice, but, the service wasn't really that good.  The food from the buffet looked okay - so maybe we should have done that like everyone else, but that doesn't mean that the menu food has to suffer.

This is my second time visiting the Cadillac. The first time the food was great & service was subpar. This time around had better service but the food was rather bland. The fish doesn't carry any flavor, nor did the chicken tenders. The burger and shrimp were good. The service though was a vast improvement. Probably won't go back unless it's a day they serve broasted chicken, because I wasn't impressed with the other food items.

Fantastic!!!  Locals eat here, and I will be a repeat customer for sure.  The broasted chicken is great!  Definitely try his place!!!  One caution is that a table next to us tried to use a groupon coupon and the owner showed out and made a big deal about it and wouldn't let then use it.  He was quite rude to the people, and it was a bit of a scene.  The food is great, service was slow due to only 1 worker on the floor, but the price was great, full meal and a drink from the bar for $16
