Got a Pizza Bianca (with chicken) for takeout. Â I knew it was a little expensive at $15+, but as I was leaving I actually had to open my box to make sure there was a pizza inside (it was so small that I thought I was carrying a box alone). Â As I was driving home, I commented to my wife that I needed to have a chat with my friend who recommended this place if it wasn't the greatest pizza I had ever had in my life. Â Well, I got home and... it was completely mediocre pizza at best. Â It was burnt to begin with. Â Wood oven does not imply burnt, BTW. Â It was also rock hard as a result of the over cooking. Â The flavor was seriously no better than the thin crust at Papa John's. Â I wood have been disappointed with this pizza at $8. Â At over $15, I am embarrassed to have given them my money. Â My wife and kids were even harder on their critique of the pizza than I was. Â I think part of me wanted to like it because I was the one who paid for it. Â I would rate them a 1, but the girl (bartender) who took my phone order and then rang me out was super nice. Â I also cannot rate them on the actual bar or any other food, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt and make it a 2. Â I'll chalk this one up as a learning experience, take my losses and keep looking for an outstanding pie in the NE side of the metroplex. Â Sorry Cadillac, but I won't be back.
Review Source:A group of us went to Cadillac last night. I built my own pizza (yay! Thin Crust! MY FAV) with pepperoni, mushroom, onion and black olives. The pepperoni was very fresh and tasty. As were the veggies. Good sauce. The ambiance is a bit loud (they're really popular, maybe they should look at expanding so it isn't @sses and elbows) but we ate early and by the time we left it was really hoppin. Overall, very tasty and good service. I'll definitely be back!
Review Source:Love love this place for a fun night out, but it is kid friendly too (maybe not Fr or Sat night when they have live bands since it is so loud).  Great pizza (Kona fire great if  u like spicy), salads (love the spinach Greek) & beer selection. The service could use some work, but I gave them 5 stars anyway since the food is so great, along with a cool atmosphere.
Review Source:ok so they have great live bands fridays and saturdays but last night i must say i was far from pleased with the server we had she didnt seem to treat us like i felt she should she would take our drink orders and then not come back for long streches. now i understand that they get BUSY on nights like last night but to me this was just horrible, horrible service and for that i will definatly not EVER sit where she is our waitress.
ont the other hand the waitress that my friends and i usually (Jessica) was a sweetheart she tried her very best to make sure we got seated in her area but unfortinaly it just wasnt ment to be and i'm ok with that but our server last night was just unacceptable and if i hadnt been there multipal time before and knew that it wasnt like that normally i definatly would've not recommended people to go there souly cause of this server.
the food was PERFECT AND LIKE ALWAYS WAS WELL WORTH IT
I have been to Cadillac pizza pub a few times since moving to the area. Â Their pizza is OUTSTANDING!!! Â Probably some of the best I have ever had. Â The atmosphere is very cool with live music on the weekends. Â The staff is friendly, especially the owner. They really know how to take good care of their customers. Â 5 STARS!!!
Review Source:I really enjoyed this place! It's pretty small, so expect a long wait on weekends. (almost an hour at 7:30 on Friday night). The food was great-we ordered a margarita pizza and another option with corn, jalapenos, and sausage. Thin crust pizza that tasted fresh and did not get soggy! We also ordered the stuff mushrooms as an appetizer and those were incredible. They also have several (8?) beers on tap and a pretty good sangria.
Service was good, and the food arrived quickly. The restaurant was loud, even before they started the live music (which was so fun!), but we could still hear each other. I'll definitely go back!
Love this place! I've been here a few times and it's been outstanding every time. First off, the venue is awesome. It's got the antiqued look of McKinney while still being pretty hip. Good stuff.
The spinach dip was phenomenal. I'm gonna say that this is probably the best spinach dip I've had in a VERY long time. (and I eat spinach dip a lot) AND, it's served with bread instead of tortilla chips! Delicious.
The pizza was outstanding. Had a margherita pizza and it was awesome!
And to top it all off, they have live music on some nights and the bands are actually pretty decent! I was impressed... seeing as it was McKinney and I was expecting a bunch of washed up guys with accounting jobs who play places like this because they can... not the case! They were decent.
All in all, I'd recommend that if you're in downtown McKinney, go here for a casual lunch/dinner. It's a good place.
So my previous scathing review is out of date. They've updated their website so as not to mislead customers about the time, and the Bar Manager Lonny was a major upgrade from the "service" we received back in 2011.
I'm glad that Cadillac helped inspire us to come back in for another chance because the food really was good. Outstanding hummus appetizer, with delicious ripe tomato, and the pizza has a unique goodness to it. It has a very thin cracker-like crust that's a tasty joy to crunch into, and well put together flavors and toppings. They do pizza very well.
Mad props for carrying an IPA by Green Flash. Having a lil treasure on tap from my home state was an unexpected "beer nerd" surprise. Not to knock lonestar or anything, yall aight.
So yeah, no more hating on the cadillac from me :)
This is your new favorite pizza joint, if you like listening to loud music so you don't have to talk to your lunch/dinner companion. Today's playlist included
: 3 Doors Down, U2, Eagle Eye Cherry, Maroon 5, Third Eye Blind, The Fray, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jamiroquai, and Goo Goo Dolls (post City of Angels). Food is real good, awesome service, and the douchiest music ever. So come on in and sit for a while if that's your jam. Otherwise, have a giggle while eating or carry out.
Nice little joint located just off the square in McKinney, with the emphasis on "little". Â Every.Single.Space of the restaurant is used for seating so trying to navigate through is a bit of a challenge. Â If you don't like being bumped into or having random children whiz by your table, try to snag one of the high top tables along the wall. Â It was jam-packed when we stopped in on a recent Saturday evening (a bit before 6:30pm) and were able to score a table with a minimal wait. Â While I liked the open and casual atmosphere of the place, let me tell you it was loud in there! Â I can only imagine what it must be like when they have live music playing later in the evenings!
We ordered the Goat Cheese Mushrooms to start and they were quite good. Â The flavor of the goat cheese really came through and the only disappointment was that there was only 4 'shrooms for us to share. Â We did get a bit of food envy seeing the orders of cheese bread being delivered to other tables so we'll certainly go that route next time! Â When it came time to order our pizza we were happy to learn that they are able to do half and half pizzas (score!) so we went with a combo of the All America and the Farmer's Pie. Â The pizza at Cadillac definitely falls into the thin-crust category with the bottom being somewhat cracker like (i.e. no sogginess issues). Â I personally wasn't a fan of the crust (it was a bit flavorless IMO) but the pizza itself was definitely above average. Â I really enjoyed the Farmer's Pie - the flavor combos worked well together and I would certainly recommend that.
Service was fine - we were seated near the bar area and had both bartenders waiting on us at various points during the evening. Â No real complaints though drink refills were a little hard to come by.
Is it the best pizza I've had to date? Â Probably not but I was certainly glad we checked it out. Â While the food was good, I don't know that it was anything *that* amazing so we'll probably be trying a few other places in the area before our next visit.
I gave Cadillac Pizza 5 stars because I couldn't think of any reason not to.
1. Went on a Tuesday night and it was not at all crowded although a musician was playing.
2. Waitress was attentive
3. Food - off the chain! I ordered the Smokey BBQ Pizza - Excellent, thin crust, plenty of meat, excellent flavors
4. Price was very reasonable
If you're willing to subject yourself to poor service and food that's just ok it might be worth trying. Yes I have to agree with many of the post that the pizza is good, but that's it. I would suggest ordering to go if you want a pizza and make sure you do it way ahead of time. Also do not pick a pizza with garlic on it. You will get large chunks of garlic cloves. I have no idea why it's so hard to chop garlic??? Â I had the Mac n' Cheese the last time I went and it was not only dry but the $2 I spent on chicken was a waste of money when you get maybe 6 small bits of chicken. My husband got the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich he said it was just average.... I think the best thing there was the Garlic Cheese Bread served on the side of the Mac n' Cheese. Final comment if you are not going to have an alcoholic beverage don't expect your drink to be refilled. My husband finished his soda half way through his meal and was never asked if he wanted a refill. I had a weak watered down soda towards the end of my meal and would of liked a refill also, but getting the bill was hard enough so I decided against asking for a refill when I got the waiter's attention.
Review Source:Pizza was excellent, the staff does as well as you can expect in such an over crowded place. Â Have no idea how they have the Fire Marshall's approval to pack in so many people.
We were a large party 10+ on a Saturday night and it took them 2 hours to sit us. Â They sat everyone before us, everyone who was already there, which is as it should be but every time a table became available they sat a party. Â Never held the table back so they could push together 2 table to start seating us. Â They only have 4 people tables so unless they held back a table we were not going to get seated.
2 hours later everyone was at a table, everyone who just walked in, everyone - well; except us. Â Now they pushed together two tables and allowed us to sit down.
DO NOT come here if there are more than 4 people in your party. Â I am doing a second post just to give them one star about our 2 hour wait.
UPDATE: Â I was contacted by the owner and he said that this night was the busiest night they have ever had. Â They have learned from this night and hope to perform better in the future. Â I will not be giving them the 1-star I mentioned above since they recognize they need to address the large party problem. Â Don't you just love it when someone cares about their customers!!!
The only food I can comment on here is the pizza. Â It is GREAT! Â I would have to say it is some of the best thin crust pizza I have had in the DFW area.
We have been several times and the food has always been great and so has the music. Â They bring in some very talented local groups on the weekends.
Stopped here with my friend Hammer during McKinney's Oktoberfest simply to get a beer as well as to oogle at the female staff who were wearing Fraulein-style outfits to go with the fest.
We didn't have any pizza (unfortunate) but the staff ,bartender and everyone we encountered there were some of the most friendly I've met. Â All the folks working that day seemed to be having a fun time of it and that speaks volumes to how a place is run and whether I go back or not.
I'm sorry I live so far away (Mansfield) but one day I will go back. Â I'll even try the pizza this time!
A friend and I stopped in on a busy Saturday night and we were glad we did!! The pizza here is on a thin crispy crust that's ohhh so good. The service was great (except no one would come pick up our card to pay until we flagged someone down, but they were busy)
There was a live band that was really good as well! Fresh fresh ingredients that are put together in just the right amounts.
Definitely give this place a try!
I've been here a couple times. Â Once for a beer and the live music on a Saturday night. Â Enjoyed it! Â The band was a group of teens playing a bunch of classic rock. Â They were great.
Then again recently on a Saturday afternoon for a little lunch. Â The pizza is pretty good. Â Thumbs up on the thin crust and the toppings.
I will return.
First thing is first. Â Go here on a Sunday. Â All day happy hour where the draft beers are $2 off. Â This made my Franconia $2 for a 16 oz beer. Â I doubt you will will find a better deal in town on a Sunday afternoon and night. Â
The place itself has a relatively fun vibe and atmosphere. Â Kind of a nice rustic feel throughout the place is the best way I can describe it. Â The beers and wine are written on a giant chalk board with oak table and chairs. Â
I had the Texas Caprese Salad. Â What makes is "Texas" is that the salad has a pepper relish. Â The pepper relish provides a sweet and spicy twist on the otherwise normal salad. Â I would recommend it. Â Others at the table had a Cesar salad and a Greek salad. Â All gave the A-OK on them.
The pizza itself is an incredibly thin crust. Â The crust has a slightly salty flavor to it, but I liked it. Â If you are looking for a thick crust, look elsewhere. Â I would say one pizza is enough for two people. Â I shared the Farmer's pie with my cousin and enjoyed the flavors of the Texas sausage in the pie. Â I thought it could have been spicier, but my cousin's girlfriend said that she thought it was plenty spicy for her. Â I had a bite of my grandma's All-American Pie and thought it was pretty good as well. Â I preferred mine to hers though. Â Again, I would say one pizza for every two normal people. Â If you are a glutton, go to CiCi's and move on.
Ended up sharing a deep dish cookie desert. Â I have no clue what brand the vanilla ice cream was, but i would say it was the low light of the meal. Â It was very "airy" and did not have the same texture of "normal" ice cream. Â The cookie itself was flavorful and sugary. Â I think I would try the Lava Cake if I was here again. Â
As far as parking goes, McKinney has plenty of it. Â That should not be a problem. Â Definitely give this place a go if you are looking for pizza in the area!
We have been here a couple of times. Â If we on the Square and we feel like good pizza, this is where we may end up. Â It is not cheap but I am not cheap. Â This good food. Â The atmosphere is great. Â They have entertainment in the evenings. Â It does get very crowded. Â It is destination location on the weekend.
The owner and the people working there have a great attitude and they, obviously, have the support of the locals, which is what you need.
SUPER yummy pizza place in historic downtown McKinney owned by some nice people. Full bar in back with some hilarious bartenders, and they're pretty quick on service. For 2 take-out pizzas I think we waited 10 - 15 minutes (15 mins on the high side).
We've had the traditional pepperoni, pizza bianca once with the carmelized onions (which I enjoyed) and once without because my friend wasn't good with that. Both were yummy! I'm really wanting to try the gyro pizza next time because someone had it when I was in there and it smelled so good.
The pizza is so yummy and I love swinging by to pick some up before sitting out on the square somewhere on a patio, because the inside here is a little cramped for my style. You can find parking around the corner in one of the public lots.
We've been twice since they've changed ownership and remodeled and we love it. Â Cadillac is now in our regular rotation of places we eat at downtown. Â They got rid of the college bar look and it looks like a hip, modern eatery now and seems to somehow have more space. Â Service has been great and the food is predictably good. Â Try their sandwiches too. Â I tried their grilled cheese on Texas toast and it's a great choice. I think it's mozzarella cheese that they use. Â Husband tried their gyro that time and it may be even better than the grilled cheese. Â I think we may have actually been three times now, because I think we've gotten their "Smoky" pizza twice. Â It's definitely our favorite and beats any other pizza I've tried. Kudos to the new guys!
Review Source:This restaurant located just off the square in downtown Mckinney, has great pizza and appetizers, but it is space challenged....tables are hard to come by, and it is very noisy...there was a small delay between placing and receiving the order..I had a spinach salad along with the Ravioli.....both A-OK....
Review Source:Super chill exposed brick space with TVs around. On a Saturday at lunch they were showing sports.
The pizza was great! It's thin crust and what we really liked is just how fresh the veges on the Capri pizza where. Mmm.. good stuff. Pizza and Shiner on tap after browsing Chesnut Square? What's not to like?
Great pizza joint just off the square in downtown Mckinney. Â They have a brick oven and both times I've gotten the pizza, it was really good. Â They have local bands come in on certain nights, which makes it fun, but also makes it hard to carry on a conversation with the person your with. Â The last time we went, was one of those nights and to be honest, we haven't been back because the service was bad. Â The waitress barely came to our table because there she was paying too much attention to a larger table. Â I like the idea, but going through that kind of service... just not worth it for us.
Review Source:Today we joined some friends for lunch at a groovy little place in downtown McKinney called Cadillac Pizza. We have been there once before and today we realized that we are big fat losers for living less than 4 blocks away from this joint and not going there EVERY DAY!
We shared a Margarita Pizza and another little pie of heaven that I can't recall the name but it had local cheese, caramelized onions, white sauce, chicken, and BACON! The fat girl that lives inside me did cartwheels all the way home and tried her best to get her boyfriend to go back for dinner! Alas, wisdom and budget woes prevailed so we are finally eating the groceries we bought (frozen DiGiorno) but I will close my eyes and pretend it is the amaze hole pie I had the honor of shoving in my gullet today.
Cadillac Pizza=ten thousand stars, and don't let my budget woes deter you cause they are not too pricey (4 of us shared 2 pies, an app, & 4 teas for the price of around $45 bones with tip). If you are in McKinney or any surrounding area get here and eat like NOW! Oh yeah, they have live music too, but that's a bonus, the pie is why you should go! The pie is why........
Let's be clear about something: Â You don't come here for the pizza. Â You come here for the live music.
Living in Austin I am always craving live music when I come up to McKinney to visit my mother and unfortunately my choices are always very limited. Â Thankfully I have Cadillac Pizza Pub to save the day.
Wednesday-Saturday after dark you will find some lively, usually jazz or blues band tearing it up near the clear glass window at the front of the bar. Â Cadillac Pizza is the place you go to at night to order fried pickles, chips and salsa or pizza and a Shiner and just chill and enjoy the music. Â It is smaller and can get packed when they have a great blues jam but it is always a good time and no cover. Â Yes, I have had the pizza and it isn't bad. Â
Especially since most places on McKinney's square close after 9PM during the week it is nice to see Cadillac still open, pouring the beer and playing the music.
We where downtown after five on a Sunday night not much is open at that time, I had not eaten since breakfast everyone else had a late lunch. I picked Cadillac seeing the average rating thinking it is pizza how hard could it be? When we walked in the place was almost empty I figured it would not take to long to get our food, I was wrong!
At first the service started off great the waiter asked for our drink order and brought it back quick. Once we ordered our pizza it probably took over 40 minutes to get our pizza. The pizza was great it had a unique flavor if I where to just rate the food it would be at least 4 stars but! The wait was ridiculous for one pizza on a quiet night it just seemed like the staff was in no hurry to get the food out. The people next to us where already seated when we arrived they also stated that it took a long time to get their order, they said they had to ask for the status of their pizza too.
The pizza was great I enjoyed my food; I will not be back because of the poor service and wait.
It is not worth your time stay away!
Came on a Saturday at lunch time. We were the first ones in, but it soon began to fill up. We'd heard that it was pretty good pizza, so we brought some friends who were in town to try it out.
First off, our waitress was great. She made sure we got everything we ordered quickly and kept our drinks topped off. Not only this, but she made every effort she could to engage us in conversation, as well as our little girl. When a waitress can go from talking to you to engaging your three year-old, all while making sure your food and drinks are taken care of...top-notch.
The pizza was actually really good. I've definitely had better, but it was better than plenty of others. The only down-side was that I didn't know they were thin-crust pies, which I'm not the biggest fan of. Still, a medium was enough to feed our family. Our friends got a large and had plenty to take home. We only ordered a plain old cheese pizza, but I plan on going back and trying out some of the other choices. All of their specialty pizzas are named after models of Cadillacs, as well, which was kind of cool.
The feel of this place is really cool. It felt like a family-friendly college bar, if that makes any sense whatsoever. They even have live music on Saturday afternoons and we, unfortunately, had to leave before they got going. Walking back by, though, it sounded like a great time, inside, and it was only 2:30 in the afternoon.
We'll definitely be coming back to this place to try them again.
Came for the singer/songwriter Tuesday Night. Â Had never been to Cadillac before but I will def be back. Â Very intimate place for live music..not too big but I never felt cramped. Â
Our server was really friendly and the food we had was very good. Â We had chips/salsa (free refills on that), Â two pizzas and the pepperoni eggrolls w/ pesto. Â Â The pizzas were very good..nice and crispy just like I like them. Â And any place that will put cashews on pizza is a hit in my book! Â Â I really want to try the hawaiian pizza next time...it has cranberries, pineapple and cashews...should be interesting! Â
The pepperoni eggrolls  ( i think they are called caddy eggrolls) were def my favorite.  Maybe a little expensive..but they are huge.  And so so very good.  Im not even a big fan of pesto but I really liked it in these eggrolls. Â
They have a good happy hour with super cheap beers  (1.75 for smalls!) until 7pm.  The place is decorated really cute (even the bathrooms)
Not a bad place, but not the best pizza. Â Crust is great, but the sauce, toppings and cheese are begging for some more flavor. Â The HUGE nachos we saw delivered to the table next to us looked pretty amazing, so that might be more of their thing (though Cadillac Nachos doesn't really have the same ring to it). Â Only one beer on tap, but full bar and wine selection. Â
The saving grace is that they do have live music and the waitstaff was very friendly and good at what they do.
