It's been awhile since I've ventured to this breakfast/lunch/brunch place, however my memories are only positive. I've carried out as well as eaten in. The food was great each time, and the service was decent. Nothing makes this place stand out in particular, although the smoothie selection is a nice touch.

I recommend breakfast AND lunch at this place!

Huh, I was really expecting something with great reviews, but it's just seemed like a regular old breakfast place.
The juice choices were a interesting touch- maybe that's what gets those south siders all hot and bothered with this place.

The service was good, including the hostess who saw me on crutches and helped with the door ( twice). nice touch.

My mom ordered the "BLT", asked for very crisy well cooked bacon as she loves that "crunch" in her sandwich. Unfortunately the bacon appears to have been cooked in the microwave and while she enjoyed the sandwich, it was not "great". Her waffle fries though, were excellent.

I had the grilled 3 cheese sandwich. With the addition of blue cheese it was a different unqiue favor that I would be willing to try again.
But my "sweet potato fries" were horrible. Greasy, limp in a sweaty  pile.
i really should have send them back- but I am always iffy on doing that and maybe thats what these freis are supposed to be like? Anyway, don't order them if you decide to try this place.

Really surprisingly great!  I drive by 5 days a week and never stopped in. Actually found it through Yelp looking for gluten free pancakes in the area.... Thanks yelp!!! They were fantastic! Such a treat!! Can't wait to come for lunch and try a sandwich on gluten free bread! Mom had the regular French toast and loved it and dad had a Denver omelet and sweet potato fries instead of hashbrowns.... Which he enjoyed! Portions are huge and prices are reasonable! Susie made the visit warm and welcoming! She's great. So all in all I highly recommend!

This place is in a strip mall area...I only came here because of the great reviews....and they were right! Great place with an extensive menu and tons of healthy or gluten free choices...and sooooo many smoothies/juices! I ordered an espresso and it was strong and perfect balance of espresso, white chocolate, and sugar...yum

Pancakes are fluffy and perfectly made...a must try!

I also ordered an omelet and it was BIG...I had leftovers the next day!

Our waitress was also very friendly because with such a large menu I was very indecisive of what to order. I have been to two other breakfast places in the area and this is definitely my favorite!

Recently we visited Cafe Miele to celebrate my sister's birthday. Six out of the eight in our party have a gluten intolerance, including myself. ALL OF OUR FOOD WAS DELICIOUS! Our pancakes were fluffy, and fabulous! I even ordered a side of gf french toast just to sample it. The prices are less than Original Pancake House, which is where we were planning to go. The decor was very nice and everything was nice and clean. The fresh squeezed juice was yummy and the coffee was a favorite of my mom and my sister. Our waitress was patient with our tribe of small children and the owner (I assume) was hovering close by making sure everything was satisfactory. They even brought over balloons for the little guys. We will be back!

Ate here yesterday and got food poisoning.  To add insult to injury, the manager was extremely rude when we called to inform them that the food they served us was making customers ill.  There wasn't even an apology.  If you wanted to get sick and then treated like garbage, this is the place for you.

They didn't have the 4 deuces but  3 deuces + 1 was good! Great place!

After reading the reviews I expected to be blown away.   To be honest, Cafe Miele provided a good breakfast to us but nothing I hadn't had before.  We ordered a spinach scrambler, a denver omelet and the breakfast sampler (bacon, sausage, eggs, pancakes).  Everything was fine there just wasn't any wow factor.  And to be quite honest, the pancakes were mediocre at best.  I can name a dozen places (south/western suburbs) were they are lighter and have much more flavor.  The coffee was good.  No problems with service either.  I wouldn't go out of my way to have breakfast here again.  I might give them a try for lunch to see what they can do.  When in Orland, I will stick to Lumes or Mimi's Cafe

Whenever I'm in Orland Park and it's anywhere near breakfast time, I make sure to make a stop at Cafe Miele. I've ordered many items from the menu, have tasted several others from my dining partners plates and everything I've had so far has been a total win for Cafe Miele!

All of the scramblers and skillets are fantastic. (My favorite is the smoked lox.)  It has tons of smoked salmon and could feed two people. The fresh squeezed juice is amazing.  You can order one of the combinations from the menu or build your own.

I like this place so much that I make excuses to go to Orland just so we can stop and have breakfast.  It's affordable, clean, has friendly service and great food.  If you're in the area you should definitely make a pit stop at Cafe Miele.

Holy FLUFFY pancakes batman!!! Seriously delicious. I think at one point I just caught myself staring at them for a few moments. Anyways...on to the nitty gritty, the main course.

May I suggest the "Breakfast Sampler" served with 2 eggs any style, 2  slices of crispy bacon, 1 sausage patty and 1 jumbo sausage link. I chose to get the cubed potatoes instead of traditional hashbrowns. Then if that wasn't enought an order of pancakes came with the meal....hahahaha.

Our server was quick with the coffee refills and that totally made my day! I can see why this place has great reviews, because its the truth :)

Came here on a Sunday morning at about 9:30am. This place is very cute. It's nicely decorated and the service is good. We were promptly seated. Good thing we came when we did, because after about 30 mins, there was a wait because the entire restaurant was full!

We came here to try out their fresh fruit juice. I ordered the strawberry, pineapple, and apple juice while my boyfriend tried their carrot, celery, and apple . I think they still need to work on their juice ratios. My juice was tart and tasted more like strawberry while the boyfriend's tasted like celery juice. We ended up drinking the whole thing, but it wasn't too tasty.

For our meals, we ordered the jumbo biscuits and gravy and the fiesta skillet. Both dishes were huge and very tasty. I didn't try the biscuits, but my boyfriend cleaned his entire plate, so I'm guessing it was very good. For me, the skillet was also very good and I ended up wrapping up half my order and ate it for breakfast the next day.

I look forward to coming back to this place and trying out all their other items. Their menu is very large with lots of choices to pick from since everything sounds so good!

Just attended a party here and the food was really, really good! It was a limited menu  b/c it was a large party but it was an excellent selection, plus gluten-free options. The wait staff was friendly and attentive, only a few times were they lax in filling up drinks. But I will definitely be back!

This restaurant has a lot going for it.  It has a really extensive menu of juices and they are all freshly squeezed.  It also has a lot of different coffees, even though I just got regular coffee, it is nice to know they are available.

It also has great service.  Our waitress was very patient with us.  I like to read the entire menu and then I usually order what I always get but still, the reading is fun.  The ambiance is also good here, you feel welcome and it is nicely crowded.  You know it must be a good place because it is crowded but the wait was only like ten minutes.

The best thing this restaurant has going for it is a solid breakfast.  I got ham and eggs and they were solid,  Good amount, served quickly and hot.  My English muffin was toasted just right and I enjoyed my hash browns.

When the kids were little, we always made a big Sunday breakfast at home.  I was the Egg man (not the Beatles version, or maybe I was?) and everyone would complain about their eggs.  Boy, do I like it now, my wife and I go out to eat.  No one cooks, no one cleans up and if there is any complaining to be done, it can be me.

I am the walrus, goo goo g'joob

My husband and I are lost souls, wandering about, wailing while beating our chests.  The unthinkable has happened, our regular breakfast place closed.  Shut.  Gone.  We mourned, wept and picked ourselves up and decided we need to move on.  We need to find a new regular place...or...do we?  Maybe we will be the minstrels of the breakfast circuit, breaking our fast wherever the wind blows us.

Last Sunday, we landed on the steps of Miele, Italian for honey and it was a honey of a breakfast place.  The juices are superb - just about any combination you want they will make, fresh and fast.  You can also have them as smoothies but I chose a juice combo of Orange, pineapple, banana and I was practically dancing the hula it tasted so delicious.  The specialty coffees are not handcrafted but they are a step up from a convenience story machine.  Good flavor and nice foam on my latte.

For breakfast I had one egg (times two, it is one of those restaurants which doubles the egg order) with turkey sausage.  Very good, I eat so much turkey sausage I practically gobble and this was right up there.

I am saving the best for last...wait for it...RED VELVET FRENCH TOAST!  No!  Yes, I swear I had Red Velvet French Toast - a side order which delivered on the delicious and the filling.

This is a very good option for breakfast.  They move you through pretty quickly, the service is friendly and efficient.  I enjoyed it and would definitely be back.  My husband was not quite as enamored. Silly man, he should have had the Red Velvet French toast!

This one is a winner for me in our breakfast quest!

Boy oh boy, is the food good! Some of the best quick service in town but never making you feel rushed.  I love the fresh jucies they offer.  You can create your own mix of veggie fruit juice.  The wheat pancakes are delicious.  I highly recommend this place for breakfast, brunch or lunch.  They are very kid friendly as well.

mixed review here. Went with my son and had a great breakfast witht he sausage and gravy. Took the rest of the clan 6 of us, and my eggs were cold so was my daughters boyfriend, wifes crab cake benedict  was bland, I was so impressed the first time, now wife wont go back because they did not like it the second. They replaced the eggs for me, but had no seasoning, salt in them, and that makes the flavor. Sorry Miele, wont be back. Will stick with Lumes.

First time in the place. Got here for breakfast and we were duly impressed. Good food from a very diverse menu that includes daily specials, healthy choices and... Gluten-free specials!  The works.
A very friendly wait-staff and comfy atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

I loved this place!! From the decor to the service to the food, I have recommended this restaurant to everyone.  We have been back a number of times, so I have tried most of the things that are on the menu as far as the breakfast items are concerned.  I never get anything but an orange juice (amazing quality) to drink, so I cannot really comment further on their extensive juice bar.  Overall a great place to go because it is a little off the beaten bath of LaGrange Rd, so it feels like you are more in the suburbs.

I have not yet had the fortune of getting breakfast here, but in this area, I think it's about one of the best lunches you can get.  I LOVE their salads and Raspberry Vinegarette dressing.  Paninis are delish and soups are hearty.  This place sure beats going to any of the sandwich chains in the Orland area.  Love the fact that they have a lot of selection on the menu too.  Been here several times and have never had a bad meal.

Came here around 9:30 on a Wednesday morning and got seated right away in a booth. Our server was very nice and didn't rush us as we browsed through the huge menu. I ordered the Southwestern omelet, which was a burrito-plus sized omelet with hashbrowns and choice of toast or pancakes. I took mine home and made 2 more breakfasts out of it. Very flavorful with huge portions. The place is very clean and decor is trendy. I would definitely come back and try something else.

Okay Cafe Miele you are moving up one star for another good meal. My wife and I took our oldest daughter here for a later breakfast this morning. It is good to have her home, even if just for a weekend visit. This time I ordered the Jumbo Biscuits and Gravy with my usual side of bacon and corn beef hash. This was extremely filling but very good. I also sampled what Maria and my daughter ordered. Everything was very good. The service was friendly. And we left feeling stuffed, taking food home all for around $30 dollars. Maybe just maybe after our next visit Cafe Miele you may just work up to that fifth star!

I came here because I was looking for a brunch joint and found great reviews on yelp.

The interior is beautiful.  Nice quiet cafe/brunch spot to enjoy somebody's company.. I really wanted to give 5 stars but can't because the waitress seemed pushy to get us out of the restaurant (even though it wasn't packed and it wasn't 3pm yet-closing time).  She also wasn't very nice until she brought us the bill, which seemed like a short fake kind of nice...  It would all have been forgiven if the food was excellent.  Their menu covers just about every breakfast item you could request (which is more extensive than what appears online).. but it just .. wasn't that great.  My friend had Belgian waffles which were good. I had lox crepes minus the cheese, add tomato (they didn't have capers).  Maybe it was too sweet.. or maybe because it was lacking the capers, but I felt like my homemade salmon crepes were better- and by no means am I very good in the kitchen.  I was, however, pleased to see that I had three crepes instead of the usual one - like with most restaurants.  We also had crab cakes that I probably will never order again.

In all, I would return if we needed a breakfast/brunch spot, but I would not go out of my way to come here again.

Oh! they did have a special on tiramasu pancakes that I wished I had tried, so maybe I might come back... Very slight chance of a maybe.

This has to be one of my favourite breakfast places in the area. I'm so glad we found this little gem (actually I found it, via Yelp! Thanks Yelpers!)

Their menu is SOLID. My boyfriend is an eggs benedict whore and they have about 9 different ones to choose from. I love seeing his face light up over stuff like that. Of course, they were able to turn around and please me too with the fine selection of fruits and veggies available to juice. I'm a huge fan of Orange/Carrot, but I always like sneaking something else extra when I go here.

This is one breakfast place that is suitable for a lot of people because even I have a hard time picking something out because it all sounds so good. I'm usually extremely picky about my breakfasts or will usually just get the same thing over and over, but this place gives me options.. In the three times I've been here, I've gotten different things. Normally I stick to what I like.

This place is reasonably priced, clean, and accommodating. Of course, if you go here on a Saturday or Sunday, you're going to have to wait. I've never been during a weekday and I've also not gotten anything off their lunch menu, but that too looks divine. Enjoy! Happy Juices!

This is a really nice breakfast place. The main reason we chose to come here was because of the juice bar. Can't beat fresh squeezed juice!

The food was delicious with a variety of different dishes to choose from. The coffee was pretty terrible though.

Super fast service and the food came out in like 10 minutes!

Fantastic. I've spent a good deal of time in breakfast joints all around the city and surrounding suburbs, and this restaurant is truly a gem. They've done a great job with decor, menu and service. Very comfortable inside with lower lighting, great colors and design elements, and a family friendly vibe.  It was a pleasant surprise!

The menu is extensive and robust - with a separate menu for FRESH squeezed juices.  I personally enjoy fresh squeezed OJ for breakfast, but there are so many other options here, I will inevitably work through some other offerings in the near future.  It's obvious the food is fresh, but what is most notable is the extensive selection, as well as some real standout breakfast staples.  I've only been twice to date, but Cafe Miele has the best sausage links and syrup I've ever had - ever.
I asked our waitress what type of syrup it was, and she said it was "just regular syrup."  It's not "regular" --  it's fantastic.

The service staff is very nice, and the speed of service was surprising!
I generally don't get hung up on speed of service - unless it's simply awful, but having fast and friendly service with small children is a real life saver!  It makes eating out with small children more enjoyable...for the parents!  I will be back to Cafe Miele on a regular basis, with and without children, to explore the entire menu!

Tucked away in a small, sleepy shopping mall in the SW suburbs, this place delivers excellent food, with all the breakfast staples, and some truly pleasant surprises!  Bravo.

This place is awesome! Such a cute little cafe-like breakfast and lunch restaurant. It's clean, nicely designed and has wonderful food!

What was eaten: The original Crepes, the country skillet, cheese blintzes and the eggs benedict. They were all equally good. I personally had the skillet and it was hot, the green peppers were so fresh and the cheese was creamy. It was the best skillet I ever had! It also came with toast and I chose the wheat, which sometimes can be dry, but not this wheat! The food was DELICIOUS and came out super fast!

We also chose to make our own fresh juices. I made a banana, strawberry, pineapple (wonderful in my opinion), my friend had Kiwi and my other friend made an apple cranberry (see pic). They were all fresh and tasty!

This place is a little more upscale than your average breakfast place, but def worth the few extra bucks! Can't wait to go back!

I've never been disappointed when I've gone here, which has sadly only been a few times. Must get back soon!

One of my favorite small things about this place is that they have hazelnut cream (alongside regular cream) for your coffee. Love that.

The food has always been outstandingly good, and the side of cinnamon raisin toast I got with my meal was perfect.

I also tried my first frappe there, and was not disappointed.

This is an incredibly good breakfast option.

Breakfast here is very satisfying. I especially like the omelettes since they are chockfull with my choices of spinach, tomatoes, swiss cheese and mushrooms. The pieces are large and distributed throughout the omelette, not little bits as at other restaurants. I request the diced potatoes instead of hash browns at no extra cost. The potatoes are very fresh. Service is devoted and could not be better. A four ingredient omelette is under $8. You can have toast or three pancakes. Try Miele.

This place is amazing!  The area needed something like this.

I highly recommend you go and get a skillet and some fresh OJ.

It's worth waiting (actually the wait isn't that long).

MMMM, I think I need to go there this weekend.

This is my favorite breakfast place by far in the area.  I will actually drive past some of the other breakfast restaurants in the area to get here.

The breakfast menu is awesome and the portions are outlandishly huge.  I get what's called the Babalou omelet and it's a 5 egg omelet with jalapenos, cheese, chorizo, and sour cream.  It comes with hashbrowns and your choice of toast or pancakes.  You can easily share this someone else, although I generally choose not to :-)

They have fresh squeezed juices of something like 20 varieties.  If you like fresh juice you will love it here.

The Kids menu is really good and reasonable too, and the Mickey Mouse pancakes tend to be a good hit with my daughters.

We probably eat here at least once a month and have for years.  In that whole time, I think we've only had one bad waitress.  Every other time the waitstaff was very good, fast overall, and quick to fill your coffee.  We've also had some times when the food arrived to the table so fast that it was actually surprising.

Cafe Miele can get pretty crowded on the weekends, and if I had any complaints it would be that the seating can be a little cramped when the whole place is full and waitresses are buzzing about.  Even when full though, the wait for food has never been bad.  In all, the best breakfast you can get within a 10 mile radius at least.

On my last visit my server was "incredibly hung over and had just gotten back from bailing her sister out of jail" - nothing better than a side of story to go with your ham & eggs.  Apparently it was also her birthday - which resulted in a much larger tip.  I'm starting to think this girl worked me...

This place has a bit of European flair for your aveage breakfast joint in the south burbs.  Massive quantities make sharing ideal (if you can agree upon an entree).  They also have fresh squeezed juice (strawberry banana - yum).  Good lunch option too.
