I went to Calvin T's for lunch and had the pulled pork sandwich with baked beans on the side. Â I absolutely LOVED the food. Â The pulled pork was very moist and tender. Â The baked beans (I honestly was expecting something that tasted similar to that out of a can) were delightful. Â The flavor of both the pork and the beans was so fresh and homemade tasting. Â I will definitely be back!
Review Source:We figured the sampler plate would be the easiest way to feed 2 adults (semi-hungry) and try the whole menu at once. The pork was good. The turkey was good. Brisket was ok. Ribs were terrible. The bread is just a store-bought slice out of a bag. The beans were strange. The coleslaw had far too much pepper. And the potato was pretty good. The sauces made it all taste better but good BBQ shouldn't rely on drenching food in sauce to taste good.
The live music was pretty fun. And the kids loved the cowboy town next door.
