Consistently good, inexpensive mexican in a quaint town.  Try the polygamy porter and make sure whatever you get is covered in their signature white sauce.

6/14/2013   Traveling with Wife & Daughter-stayed two nights in town. Thought we would have more than fast food- (in this case we should have ). arrived before the crowds for evening meal--
Sign said Mexican & American. Only saw one item American on menu - was seated right away.  Cashier was was on the phone yacking & with a very loud irritable laugh most of the time . Waitress was also very loud & pushy. she brought chips & Salsa ( the only good thing) finally took order. Another long wait. I ordered the Burrito & asked to ladle the green Chile sauce on top.  Waitress said they wouldn't do that & argued very loudly.

Wife ordered Chile Relleno - It was really bad- rubbery tasteless & over priced. Our 8 year old daughter had fries -Yucky ?? Waitress never brought any more chips & salsa--brought our bill and didn't see her again.

Wife & I have operated large & small Restaurants- but never encountered  anything like this.   Jerry L.

Yes, the service is very friendly. Yes, the salsa is great. But the "Mexican" food is inedible. I usually don't say much if I don't like a place, but you need to be warned. We paid an outrageous amount of money for food that was either tasteless or downright scary. I couldn't eat what they called a chile relleno. The rubber egg thing they bent around the chile tasted like very old griddle grease. Didn't want to spend my vacation sick. Worst food I've ever had in a restaurant.
