Canita's El Tio Mario

I was actually very impressed with the carñitas (Carnitas, literally "little meats,") and a tradition in most Mexican households.
I was very impressed with the braised meats of pork and I am really ecstatic that we have one now within walking distance. What use to be a Puerto Rican Restaurant, is now Carnitas and so happy it is here.
The Staff seemed to be very happy that we were there and really went out of their way to make sure we were accommodated. Not the biggest of restaurants around of course, but when you have carñitas made the old fashioned way what more can you ask for? This is what it's all about, serving something that very few do. Totally recommend them if you are in the neighborhood.
