Cascade Lakes Lodge

Hate this place.  Be ready to be greeted with blank stares, then ignored for awhile before someone finally comes to take your order.  The food is often preprocessed, but that does not stop Cascade Lakes from taking advantage of their thirsty patrons with the offensively high prices. Two stars for fairly good beer that is well-served.

The Cascade Lakes Brewing Company was ok.  I ordered the smothered chicken burrito.  It was pretty bland and tasteless.  I drowned it in hot sauce, which made it a little better... a little.  To quote my friend "It was ok.... it was filling."  I will give him that... it was definitely a large burrito and filled me up.  

Another member of our party ordered the Yakisoba noodles.  He actually went there two nights in a row and said it was very good.  However, he was not impressed with the flavor of his mixed drink.

The staff was very friendly and talkative.

I have discovered that there are plenty of great places to eat in Bend, so I most likely will not be making a return visit here.

Standard beer-got the sampler and it had a diverse sample of pretty much every standard style you'd imagine at the average brewery. The beers were decent. Nothing outstanding and nothing horrible. The food was also standard pub fare and was perfectly fine.

Nice big space, family friendly, lots of TV's. Separate bar and restaurant area.
