What a cozy little place, with a great happy hour deal! Â We used our Yelp check in offer and only paid $4 for a cocktail and a beer! Â I liked my lavender collins, but it wasn't as strong as I'd like it to be, even though it tasted really delicious!
Matt B.'s beer was luke warm. Â I'm not sure if that was how it was supposed to be so I questioned Matt, and he said maybe some places just serve their beer like this, as if it was normal... since I'm not a big beer drinker, and I've heard of places that do it, but that warm beer just did not taste good to me. Â I don't know how Matt stomached that entire pint.
The balcony was a nice place to sit on a sunny warm day!
I wrote a review in March 2012, and not much has changed, except the review doesn't seem to show? Anyway, My wife and I have eaten here many times since then and have always had good experiences - sure we've had salads with red onion cut too large that's a bit overwhelming, but I don't think that sinks the ship...they're a good addition to the Bend dining scene. The service has always been fine and I think they're the best dining option in the Old Mill.
