Wow...  I just read a bunch of the negative reviews of this joint and am sadly disappointed that those reviewers had such a bad experience.  Taylor's is my and my fiance's favorite bargain breakfast place in town.  I have had nothing but good food and good service here.  (We've been here about half a dozen times)

I'm partial to their Supreme Breakfast Burrito which has their hobo potatoes, eggs, cheese and sides of salsa and sour cream.  What makes this burrito so f-ing good is the medley of sausages and bacon in the hobo potatoes.  Also the slices of sausage are nicely seared, at least to my liking, and resonate this fantastic, rich flavor that lingers after you have finished.  Granted, this burrito is not the healthiest thing to eat, but it is great for a once in a while treat.  I've also had their Breakfast Sandwich which was equally tasty.  I once overheard a guy at a neighboring table who had received his supreme, deluxe breakfast sandwich and exclaimed, "Oh my god!  Look at this thing.  It's huge!", followed by appreciative chuckles.

My fiance likes your traditional eggs and toast kind of breakfasts from Taylor's.  She often gets the linguisa and eggs and loves it.  I've tried it, of course, and it is damn tasty.

My only complaint is that they don't bring condiments, even common ones to your table.  Instead they have a condiment station at the end of their bar.  But on the plus side, they have about every possible imagined condiment that would be good on a sausage you can think of available, which leads me to think that is why they don't bring them to your table.

The decor is bare minimum but I think they suffer on the account of the layout of the building.  Still, they could get creative and maybe break up the space to make it more interesting.

Yet, what perplexes me and my fiance is the consistent lack of clientele in this place in the mornings.  It is truly an undiscovered gem.  We've also bought several items from their freezers and were equally impressed by those selections.

Disappointing experience starting with the menu. They are a sausage place, I was thinking endless options for sausages, dogs, brats, but there are maybe a half a dozen on the menu.  There seemed to be more choices in the deli cases that were for sale.

One staff person doing it all at 11:30. There was only one other able filled, but it was still too much for one man. Nice guy, but he was only capable of so much.

We had the jalapeño dog and cheese sausage. Granted, he was under the gun, but the cheese wasn't melted in the sausage. Wings which are featured on their menu board were lackluster. We had the BBQ and the celery and carrots served with we're definitely from a previous day(s).

Ambiance was not the focus, but things looked dingy.

We didn't try any, but the jerky looked amazing.
