this is a joke, right?
first the good:
1) reasonable cover
2) attentive bartenders
3) colorful clientele
now, the not so good
1) they opened nearly an hour after they said they were going to be. strike one.
2) little to no ambiance. i get that spending money on stuff that gets trashed isn't in anyones budget, but come on!! a sheet hanging from the wall with spinning disco lights isn't a club. even if it's trashy and cheesy, at least it's something.
3) super stinky bathroom. Â i was more grossed out than most dive bar bathrooms i've gone into . bad bad bad.
4) i wasn't feeling the dj(s) you know what we want to hear. please stop being so self-indulgent.
perhaps i need to check out the themed nights. maybe my opinion will change (since i'm sure it means so much).....
The music wasn't calibrated right for such a small enclosure, it was too loud and just bounced off the walls sharply. The bartender might as well have charged me $8 for a Capri sun which is saying a lot because I am a girl who has about a two drink maximum per month. The music was supposed to be 80s but I think I recognized one song that was vaguely a mash up of what might have been an 80s song. The crowd was cute and friendly though, can't knock the sight of a cute girl in metallic jazzercise.
