Upon walking in to Center Street, we were greeted by the owner. He said they were at capacity (this was at 4:30pm) and refuse to let us in. I looked past him and there was one table of four, Â and no one in the bar. Â We just wanted to get a drink in the bar, however they said they would only serve us outside. I have been to the bar numerous times, and i will never go back. The owner was rude, disrespectful, and lost business with his horrible service and attitude. Never go to Center Street unless you want to deal with rude business owners.
Review Source:So i finally came in for lunch, only to become disappointed. I ordered a Medium-rare NY steak. And by surprise, i had a nerve on my steak. I hope the staff knows about steaks like they should since they work in a steakhouse. Hopefully it was a mistake.
But other than that!, the server treated me very very well, the food over all was great, the atmosphere was good, and the service was legit.
We were hopeful about this place. I've had a hard time finding a good steakhouse nearby and I went in with high hopes. Layout of the dining area is somewhat awkward. My fiancé and I were seated in a corner and there was a curtain between us and what sounded like the kitchen. We could hear the waitstaff and chef in the back talking and laughing. That, coupled with the fact that the ambiance music chosen was a radio station which played 'Call Me Maybe' then did the traffic and weather report in the middle of my meal--strike one. I ordered the ribeye and my fiancé ordered the prime rib. The bread they brought out was good, the 'relish plate' not so much. Food was brought out and we dug in. Best I can say is meh...honestly the ribeye I make myself at home is better, and I don't go out and pay $26 for something I can make better myself. Strike two. The only great thing about this place was our waitress, who was wonderful. Paid $75 dollars worth of meh for two--if you're going to have the same prices as Texas Roadhouse your steak better match up, or I will go there instead.
