Chadwick's Tap Room

This place is jsut ok. Their food has always been good and the servers/bartenders are nice but there is something missing. it is usually very quiet there and maybe that is the problem. We went there for trivia the Wed before the fourth of July and as soon as trivia was over, the place cleared out like there was a fire. I thought that was strange seeing how the next day was a holiday. Anyways, I dont know if I will be back since to me it seems boring....

I went for lunch on Monday 6-10-2013 with four co-workers after learning the previous establishment has been replaced.  I reluctantly decided to go and give them a clean slate.  I'm disappointed overall and my reasons are as follows:

I ordered 12 hot wings after being unable to decide from more glorious options seemingly more suited to a non-bar kind of place.  I thought, "its chicken".  How hard could it be to get it right?  The orders came out quickly considering it was just after high noon and including our party the bar tender and the other customer we jokingly said the place is packed.  Soon after two other parties arrived for a grand total of 12 for lunch.  My wings were lukewarm and lacked the nose tingling experience you get when you receive fresh out of the fryer wings covered in a tangy sauce.  These were dry and hard, not crispy but old like they were cooked an hour ago after sitting in the cooler since the previous Thursday or a few days prior.

One in our party ordered the Guda and bacon grilled cheese which arrived on two oversized pieces of Texas Toast with an ample amount of bacon which offered a decent flavor but failed to measure up due to an inadequate helping of cheese which was not melted.
The rest of the party decided on salads and chicken fingers all of which was consumed with little or no comment pro or con.

There are better options and I am not writing them off its just not on my list of places to return to very quickly.

I had the bacon wrapped meat loaf sandwich topped with onion rings a side of house cut fries and fresh jalapeño slaw.... need i say more? It says they buy from local farmers and use only free range as well as try to beat everyone on drink prices and quality of thier food and service. Come hungry, leave happy.
