We used to hang out at the Park Meadows location but like the Aspen Grove location better. It's just feels newer. Pretty much like every other sports bar in area but on steroids. Food is better, TVs are new and HD, and service is personable. I like the fact they  have DJs for featured events. They place music during commercials. Thought that was neat.

We dropped in for a happy hour drink before heading next door to the Alamo Draft House.  The place was hopping on a Friday afternoon around 5pm, and we were lucky to get two seats at the bar.  The waitress/bartenders at the bar were pleasant and friendly, if a bit frazzled.  I had a nice cold beer at a reasonable price.  We did not order any food, but there seemed to be some solid happy hour selections.  The folks next to us had the gigantic plate of nachos that looked delicious and had me imagining how I would feel later if I consumed that many raw slices of jalapeno.  Service seemed really good me, and I would be willing to come here again, even if it might not be my first choice.

I'm a fan. Excellent happy hour. Champps is the ultimate sports bar in Littleton. All HD TVs and several big screens. We always take advantage of the call a heads. UFC fights and Bronco games are very busy. Sunday brunch is our favorite since its so cheap. Thanks guys for taking good care of us. They have a private room which my company hosted our Christmas party last year which was great!

Good time every time I come. I think some good specials for entrees would make it better. Mile high ice cream pie is a must!

Great decor, food is good, plenty of tv's with games on.  Too bad the service is unbearable.  A friend and I were meeting monthly at the Park Meadows location but after the 3rd time of sitting for long periods wondering who & where our wait staff was, we quit going there. They disappear suddenly then after physically stopping another waiter we find out she went home.  Now I happen to stop in to the Aspen Grove location and sat down at the bar.  I watched the bartender arrainge menus, have some casual conversations & walk by me...twice.  I finally stand up, wave my arms in the air like an idiot and say "Hello! Can I get a beer?".  Clearly I was annoying this young woman as she was pretty short and snappy with me.  Maybe it's just my bad luck, most Champps are run very well in my opinion, and I've been to many in multiple states and have never had less than great service.  I'm guessing these two locations are run by one Regional Manager and that's where the issues probably lye.  Regardless, I won't be back.  I just can't support repetitively bad service.  And I'm pretty easy to please; notice that I sat at your bar or table & at least get the drink order within a couple minutes without me having to jump up & down to get attention.  5-10 min is just too long when you're not even busy.

I gave the gift card they sent to a friend and they also had a lousy experience at Champps. The drinks tasted watered down and the service was terrible.

We went to the Champps on Sunday December 2nd.  We ordered chicken fingers for our 2 1/2 year old and there was GUM COOKED INTO THE FOOD! We flagged down the manager and she grabbed the plate and barely apologized. She never came back to apologize to our table. Then we received the bill and they only took off $10! I was so furious I contacted there corporate office and they were very nice saying a gift card was on it's way. 5 days later we received a gift card for a Whopping $30! Our bill was $52 before tip and after the $10 off. So I guess there corporate office could care less about covering our bill.

What if our daughter ate the food before my wife caught the gum? She could have choked or what if the gum had diseases?

    DON'T EVER GO HERE!!

Their food on happy hour is a good deal. Every appetizer is $5 except the sampler. The nachos are MASSIVE!!!! Love that they have queso on them too. YUMMOOOO. The drink special is just $1 off so not that amazing but worth it for the $5 apps.

Watch out here...the drinks are a TOTAL ripoff. My double bourbon on the rocks was a tiny little glass filled to the top with ice, with barely a single shot of actual bourbon. My friend's martini was barely over half full, and when we complained, our server said " Oh, I didn't pour it." Seriously? My wife's double vodka tall was nowhere near a double.  We've been around the block enough to recognize the difference. It amazes me that establishments would stiff customers on drinks like this; they may save a few dollars by holding back, but we will seriously NEVER go back here because of how blatant the offense became. We won't go into the food...whatever. Stay away unless you don't want to drink.

The wings were fine (kinda tough to mess up) but overall was not impressed with the food. The ingredients were not of quality, which wad surprising given the price they charged. There are MANY other restaurants in the Littleton area that offer WAY better food for similar price. The staff was friendly and attentive, which is why I give it 2 stars instead of 1.

Champps is a vanilla chain with predictable fare and typically good service.  I wouldn't kick it out of bed for eating crackers, I guess, but never not ever have I been bowled over by a Chammps, because they're like a TGIF or Bennigans, and that is not rad.

Except for their bar.  Because let's be honest, it's a big banging bar with lots of televisions which I happen to like because I like sports.  More to the point, I like my sports with my booze, and in that regard Champps suits just fine.

So, if you happen to be in the area and famished and in need of a lot of drinks and basketball games, hey why not go to Champps?

It started out real good! Their Crab Bread appetizer deserves an honor. It's French Bread, toasted, and topped with gooey cheese, herb, and spicy (but not overly) crab meat, with a side of Marinara dipping sauce. We were in 7th heaven! Our waitress was very understanding and when I couldn't pick a dressing for my salad (Champps offer many different kinds!), she gave me both of what I wanted: The Ginger-Orange and the Thai Peanut. Both were good! Soup of the day was Southwest Corn Chowder, very hearty but we thought the size was a little too small for a bowl.

I couldn't wait for the main entrees, especially after carefully picking out two among a full menu of seemingly wonderful dishes. The Pepperjack Bacon Stack Burger, despite being a fan favorite, was totally flavorless. The patties were grilled as ordered but I just couldn't fathom how a combination of juicy meat, bacon strips and pepperjack cheese would be so tasteless. I had to use a LOTTA ketchup on my burger for it to remotely taste like something. And we substituted fries with homemade kettle chips. Wrong, should've upgraded to onion rings. They weren't that much different from store brought chips.

The other "all-star entree" we got was the Parmesan Crusted Chicken, it didn't have a fan favorite logo next to it, but I like how the chicken is served over vermicelli pasta (which I inquired about and was told it's just spaghetti. Was taken aback a little but still decided to give it a try). Well, again, it's flavorless, the meat was dry, and the breading was cold and separated from the meat! Now what kind of frying job is that? And the pasta was horrible, probabaly even worse than just spaghetti with ketchup! "Well, at least there was a lot of chicken", was what my boyfriend said to comfort ourselves, but a lot of tasteless chicken makes up for nothing!

Our waitress tried to sell us desserts but we learned our lesson, plus we truly got full. I vowed to not come back anymore but being the smart one, the waitress awarded us some "mystery cards" that range from $3 to $30, as we were first time customers. OK, maybe I will give them another chance in the future...

Other than the food, we liked the spacious sports bar and its atmosphere. There were flat screen TVs hung up on the wall almost throughout the entire restaurant!

I hated this place, and that has nothing to do with the fact that I am not a fan of sports bars. A friend and I made the mistake of wandering in here recently on a Saturday after the Paris Market. It started before we decided on food, when I ordered a beer: the waitress said Samuel Adams came in 14 and 22 oz. sizes. The menu featured a picture of Sam Adams in the fancy Sam Adams glass, and I told her that's what I wanted; she said that was the 14 oz, so I said OK, whatever. Five minutes later, guess what, here she was with my Sam Adams in a regular glass. I objected, saying I specifically wanted the fancy glass. So what does she do? She takes back my beer, and pours it into one of the fancy glasses, which, as it turns out, is the larger size. So what she ends up serving me is the fancy glass, filled up only to about 2 inches from the rim... unbelievable! (And, by the way, the price for this was a ridiculous $5.68!)

Then there was the food--could it get any more boring? Flavorless burger, same thing for the waffle fries. Nachos smothered in a gross fake-cheese sauce with creepy chicken. Yuck! Do yourself a favor, folks, avoid this dive!

I didn't have a lot of time so I just grabbed a spot at the bar and ordered a bowl of vegetable minestrone soup. It was super good-had mini portabello mushrooms, artichoke hearts, and the soup itself was extra flavorful. It wasn't busy but the bartender wasn't sociable. Not rude by any means-I just enjoy sitting at the bar b/c usually a great conversation can happen.

As good as the soup was, it was $4.99-and it was pretty small. It should have been considered a 'cup' for $2.99. The counter and the restroom were clean, which was nice considering the lunch rush had just ended...

However, there was a dude next to me eating a salad the size of a large toddler, and he said was just an entree' salad. So I might check that out next time. Oh, and their music was fun to hum along w/.  lol

Not impressive, but it was cool. I'll drop by again.

Great salads, and I have always had great service here.
I really enjoy sitting on their small patio when I can. It reminds me of a mountain side patio with all the trees and landscaping.
The kids meals are rather small.
If you are at Aspen Grove, this si a great restaurant to head to.

I like this Champps better than the Lone Tree one, which is darker and just doesn't feel as clean.  This one is more open and the service is much faster.  I have had many good meals there.

Today I had a great Blue burger with bacon, along with some crispy waffle fries - it was all outstanding.  The only bad meal I have had here was the shrimp fajitas on their Wednesday special - the shrimp tasted like they were boiled in dish water.  Other than that, I like it better than other Champps I have been to.  I have not tried the bar seating yet, just the restaurant.

Like Mo C. said:  "I'm just not a fan."

We gave it one more shot.  Never Again.

The Bartender was beyond rude, beyond incompetent... He was downright SURLY.

We sat in the bar, asked some simple questions, and were treated to one word answers, grunts, and at one point, he literally WALKED AWAY while we were still speaking.

    RUDE!

I had the audacity to ask for a bag of their "Bar Chips"... his response was to LOOK AT HIS WATCH... then the ceiling, then the kitchen, and mutter "yeah, they probably still have some."  (This is 2+ hours before closing.)  SURLY, MUCH??

We asked about the happy hour that would start at 10pm, and told him we'd wait till then to grab some of the Happy Hour appetizers.

Get it?  We're gonna stay till 10... at least.

Guess he didn't get the memo.

When he "Dropped"  (Again: Literally) the bags of "Bar Chips" on the table, he also Tossed a check, and said "Yeah I'll take that when you're ready."  (ARE YOU KIDDING ME???)

Boy, Buddy, you REALLY don't want our business, eh?

Alas, 5 more of our friends were already en route, so we ended up staying for 2-3 beers apiece and a nosh of their stale nachos.

I refuse to encourage poor behavior, and certainly refuse to patronize someplace that provides jerky service consistently.  I we gave you another chance, Champps, and you blew it.

    Peace Out.

Horrible, from the moment we walked in to the moment we left.  First, I get it's a sportsbar, and you should be able to hear the featured game, but you should also be able to have a conversation across the table without having to shout.

Second - the menu.  Nothing interesting, so boring

Third - the food.  Unremarkable at best.  But the "chicken" on my BBQ chicken salad did not appear to come from a chicken breast I might buy at a grocery store... more like the leftovers.

Fourth - the service.  It was somewhere between apathetic and rude.

It wasn't my idea to go here... but it will be my idea to veto this place next time it comes up as a place to have lunch.

Great place to be.  The Happy Hour is incredible and you can't beat the prices.  I always sit in the bar and watch the ample sports that are on the many big screen TV's.  The bartenders are friendly and always accommodating.  Get the happy hour nachos, they are enough food for 2 or 3 people and are $5.  Highly recommend this place.  Shandlee (sp?) and Jordan in the bar are great (and easy on the eyes).

OK, admittedly the purpose of this review is more to troubleshoot a Google Buzz issue, but it's also been a little bit since I wrote a review.  I didn't really want to review Champps because I used to actually bartend here and I thought I would be biased.  To account for the bias, I took a star off my rating, so take that into account.

We went for lunch on Monday because it was half price burgers, and I'll be honest, I've always thought Champps burgers are some of the best.  They can be a bit overpriced, but half price day is definitely a plus.

The restaurant is big with plenty of seating, all with a great view of one of the many TVs playing sports .  It is afterall a sports bar.  Today there was a vast variety of sports to view, from the Olympics, American Gladiators, and a replay of the Saints v. Colts Superbowl.

I tried a burger which is new to the menu, the Border Burger.  It was pretty good, but could use some jalapenos in my opinion.  They have also added steak fries as an option to their usual waffle fries.

The bar area is huge and there are several tables in the bar area if you don't want to belly up to the bar and also don't want to sit in the restaurant.  Service was friendly, but I also still know about half the staff, including the manager that as working today.

As I said, I took off a star just for the "intimacy" I have with the place, just to remove any bias.  It's been over 3 years though, so there shouldn't be too much bias.

    I'm just not a fan.

Admittedly, this was a poor choice for a Twelve Drinking Days of Christmas Happy Hour. They really don't have bar room to accommodate a group and there was no way we were gonna sit in family-land in the restaurant area. So, we pulled some bar tables together and waited.

We waited, waited, then waited some more. Finally, someone in our group grabbed a bus boy and asked if/when we would ever see a server. Some had given up in the process and gone directly to the bar. We waited some more. Finally, a server came by and took some drink orders. After all the waiting, there was only 1/2 hr of happy hr left :( At some point, the manager dropped by our table and offered us a free dessert for having waited. Well, that's nice, but how about extending happy hour another half hour for us instead?

The brew on draft is cold, though not varietus. I had a blue moon. Some folks got appetizers. The rest of us stuck to the drinks. A bit later two enormous slabs of ice cream cake appeared. Good stuff, but didn't go with the beer, ya know?

The music was terrible. Back Street Boys twice made an appearance. But, at least you couldn't hear it very well over all the noise in that place. It's one big room, no dividers. At a minimum they should consider dividers between the bar and restaurant area. Babies screaming does not make a good boozin environment. And seriously, what the HELL is up with the diaper in the bathroom? You couldn't throw that crap away?

So, I'll be taking a pass on this place for happy hour in the future. And, if I'm gonna eat in that area, Buca is so much better anyway, so I'll be going there. So, sorry Champps, the likelihood of me making it back through your door is slim to nill.

I'm not a fan of most suburban chain restaurants.  They drive me crazy.  Nor, am I a fan of sports bars that only play one game and moan when you ask them to put on a different game on a smaller TV station.

All of the above doesn't apply to Champps.  Yes, the more popular games are on the big screen, but they have plenty of smaller screens showing everything.

The portions are huge and I was really happy to see they've started offering smaller portions.  Their food has been consistently good each time we've gone there.

The service is good, not overbearing.

All in all, pretty good place in the suburbs.

Hi, my name is Sondra, and I'm a first time yelper :)

I've been to Champps twice for happy hour in the past month, and both times I had the same experience. Reasonably priced happy hour drinks, a nice selection of specials on appetizers, and plenty of room to sit. Actually, a lot available seats, which I was surprised about both times. I thought it would be a lot busier for a Friday happy hour at 5pm, but there were plenty of tables and stools open in the bar.

The bad part that I've experienced both times was the wait staff. The first time our server would never come check on us, so long periods of time would go by where we had empty glasses. Then after we were there for a couple hours, you could tell she was ready for us to go. That happened again the second time, but this time the server was very attentive. But she really seemed like she was ready to be rid of us. She would keep trying to put down the check, and I'd have to tell her that we wanted another round. After she did that twice, we decided to leave. Hey, if you don't want the extra tip that you'll get from the larger check those extra beers would produce, we'll leave.

It's too bad too. I like the atmosphere and would love to be able to sit there with my friends and just enjoy my beer, and not feel like I need to gulp it down and run!

    Champp's.

It is difficult to give an unbiased review.  I worked here for almost 5 years, so in some ways I would be more kind and in other ways, less kind.  I'll try to review the place as unbiased as possible.

Champp's has a bit of an identity crisis.  Nestled between Downtown Littleton, Familyville Littleton, and Highlands Ranch the clientle can range from biker to broker.  Which is it, Sports Bar or Family Restaurant.  The answer to that question depends on when you show up.

The dichotomous atmosphere can be a plus or a huge minus,  If you want to bring the family out for a nice Saturday dinner, check and make sure it isn't UFC fight night.  They show live pay-per-view fighting at least once a month.

The food is good.  Sometimes surprisingly good.  Their Kung Pao is better than most any Pao I've had in Denver.  Strange but true...
The burgers are good, the pastas are pretty good, their entree salads are much above average and if you happen to go in when they have the Champagne Chicken and Shrimp, get it.  The portions are on the larger side.  They are mostly a scratch kitchen, so just about everything is fresh and made to order.

The bar is big and brushed metal with plenty of space to get a good view of one of their 11 plasma TV's.  The beer selection is... okay.  The wine selection is also surprising for a sports joint.  22 different wines that are a little overpriced, but they have some interesting choices.  No Yellow Tail here.

I would give the food 4 stars, the atmosphere 4 stars, the staff though can be just as Jekyll and Hyde as the crowd.  Some classic old school bartenders and waitstaff who are attentive and good at their job, mixed with the newest batch of no experience recruits you'll find anywhere.

Truth be told, I used to think much more highly of the place before it got bought out by the Fox and Hound.  They made a bunch of corporate blanket decisions that have, in my opinion from the inside, decreased the value and quality of the food, watered down the environment and taken away a lot of what made Champp's a great hang out.  (They actually canceled Happy Hour.  Who cancels Happy Hour?)  This is why my review dropped from 4 stars to 3.

If you're in that area of town,  there isn't a lot to do.  And if you want a place to pre-game before taking the light rail downtown, Champp's is great.  Just know that it is entirely possible to get the complete opposite experience you were aiming for.

I so wanted to hate this place... sports bars have their time and place, and last Friday night was not one of them for me (you don't think I was little hormonal, do ya?)  I was mightily pissed when my first choice at the Aspen Grove Center on Santa Fe in Littleton, Kyoto, pulled up stakes and fled town!  Next door was Buca di Beppo, but I was not up for that either.  So that left Champps.  Mr. W. was happy that he'd have beer and sports to take his mind of my continual whining, so I let him talk me into it.

The interior is a big, open space with TVs of every size and description visible from every angle, all tuned to whatever sports were taking place at the moment.  We were seated immediately and got our drink orders taken right away.  I loosened up a bit when I discovered they served Mojitos - BIG Mojitos.  Makes mama happy.

Then to the menu, which was a lot more extensive than I had anticipated.  Champps has a pretty typical sports bar menu with lots of apps and sandwiches and hot entrees, but lots of variety.  Given I was in mood for Asian, I decided on the Pan Pacific Chicken Salad.  The server very nicely let me get both salad dressings, and when I decided I liked the orange ginger dressing better, she gave me another helping, with a smile!  The salad was very good, lots of chicken and spicy peanuts on top of the usual greens.  Mr. W got fish and chips which looked to be generous and nicely done.  The table next to us was celebrating a birthday, which required the entire staff clapping and singing, but holy glucose levels, Batman, you should have seen the slice of ice cream cake they brought out - about two feet high!

The Rockies even won that night, so all in all, we had a nice dinner, dammit!  Yeah, I'd come back, even if I don't have crampps (ha ha!)
