The Shack

Have been going to the Shack for 10 years and they have spoiled me! Whenever we go somewhere else we always find ourselves saying 'This isn't as good as The Shack" Best service in town, period! Great food, great atmosphere. Huge flat screens everywhere and always a nice lively crowd. The owners know what they are doing and they do it right.

Definitely has the "regulars hangout" feel. We went on a Friday night and while it was semi-busy it wasn't packed. We got a seat right away. However, the service was terrible. Took forever for someone to take our order. Neither my wife nor I ever had our drinks refilled until we were ready to leave and the waiter just had an attitude that he could have cared less. Added to that, the prices were way too high for what you get. 2 Sodas, 2 Salads and Small Appetizer + tax and tip = $50. I think I'll leave this place to the regulars. They obviously see something about this place that I just don't get.

This is your typical sports bar.  The Caliente burger was good, but their open faced (red) chili burger was kind of dry .  The portions are small since you don't get fries with the meal and they were still $8 burgers!  A bit expensive, I think.  Also, their happy hour prices were just 15-20% off, kind of odd.
