I've been there twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. Â The food was great and so was the service. Just can't figure out why it's always empty. Â I'd seen the place several times before finally deciding to stop in, and both times there were only three occupied tables. Â It's such a shame because the food really is good. Â The owners need to do a better job of marketing!
Review Source:WORST OPENING / CONCEPT OF 2013???? IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY!!!!
These Foghorn Leghorn logo presiders / owners / partners / whomever name goes on the important docs/licenses of week thought they would be printing money here.....more like......these guys will making license plates soon....real soon. Owwww....uch!
I've seen Christian Science Reading Rooms more busy.....same tired menu from the 1990s which has been downgraded to microwaving and utilizing Restaurant Depot chickens and spicing them up. Landlords Cassidy and Turley was just looking for a sucker to come in and take over 3 year empty space. Ok....Cassidy you made your point and got new floors, paint and grease traps..... NEXT UP?
Barkeep no following, no regulars unless you count the all male revue soft shoe specialists karaoking it up on a lame Thursday nite. I once saw a band playing to ONE CUSTOMER.... a partner/owner. I saw a guy with a $5 chicken mask trying to wave busy commuters in on a Sunday afternoon.....to no avail. Local no talent artists works line the walls and NOW!!!!! someone decided that children's scribblings all along one pillar wall would look appealing. Â OMG!!!!!
$3.99 is NOT a deal on a Happy Hour beer, people. When a takeout order of $9.18 includes quarter chicken, 2 sides and biscuit....that's fine but if it arrives in 6 minutes you know it wasn't freshly made. Â
They can't compete with #2 sales pacers Buffalo Wild Wings or Quincy's across the street. Â
Foghorn Leghorn: Oh, you're down again. You gotta learn to stand on your own feet, boy. I may not always be around to help ya. (msg. to Cassidy Turley)
Okay, this place wasn't that bad, it is just I HATE the concept.
It is a Boston Market Plus with waiter service and a bar.
I might have a brother (maybe named Luis) who used to work in this building,
and have driven past it 500 times, and finally wanted to check it out.
INSIDE - very impressive, well done. Â Had a nice bar
SERVICE - very good, guy was very nice and helpful
PRICES - not too bad
MENU - had a few things more than Boston Market, but
the similarities bothered me.
FOOD
It was okay, just presentation was weak. Â Went to Boston
Market about 2 days later, and theirs was cheaper and
looked more appealing. Â Their food was much more
impressive as well.
This is not a bad place, just cannot give it a four. Â If I worked
in the building, bet I would go a lot. Â No hate, just little respect
for whoever thought this was a winner. Â They have a bunch of
them, so obviously someone does, just no one in my house.
