Star Diner

We wish this diner was better. Prices are very high for mediocre food and service. But we live in the Kentlands and its easy to walk to for a burger or club sandwich. They open too late during the week for breakfast, a stable of any great diner. I fear they survive due to the location.

My kids always like going here. I think the food is decent and it's local. The Tiki Bar in the summer is a fun place to hear local bands and to hang with friends (yes, even for me & my 40-something yr old friends).

Our server was extremely personable but that is where the positive experience ended. She didn't write down our order but assured us that it would be correct. Well, she was wrong. Two of the three orders were completely incorrect and the third was partially wrong. In addition, when I got the correct omelette, it was totally tasteless. We were not impressed.
