Shishababa's House Of Hookah

I visited this awesome place last Friday. Very laid back environment, friendly staff, good hukkah.

I've been here twice, both times at night during the summer. They were busy, and for good reason. The hookah here is awesome and if you're new at it, it can knock you on your ass!

The house is in a very convenient location, near 270/355 etc. and I had no trouble finding it thanks to the tips from the other reviewers. I love the cozy atmosphere and both times that I visited I sat outside on the porch. It's kind of like you are visiting someone's house for a party, rather than going to some place in a strip mall which is cool. Also, the music they were playing was great.

What I didn't like was the lack of service. I feel like most hookah places I've been to suck with customer service, but I feel like I'd come back more if they were more attentive. I understand the place was packed, but on a Friday night, maybe hire an extra employee to help...getting new coals took a long time, and I noticed that the girls at the table next to me sat there without having a coal on theirs at all (it fell off) for about 15 minutes before someone was with them. The bathroom wasn't very clean and it  was out of paper towels, so I helped myself to opening a new package when I was in there. I would normally knock off more stars for this, but I think everything else makes up for the less than average service.

The hookah is priced similarly to other places I've been to in the DMV. I believe it was $16 for a head, $18 if you want the XL bowl, and they have unlimited for $30? Don't quote me on this. Plus, they've got ice tips available if you're into that. They use quick light coals (womp womp, who doesn't) and tobacco choices include Starbuzz, Starbuzz Bold, and Al Fakher. They even have the vapor stones if you're into that...I know I want to go back to try these out. The hookah here is kickass.

This place was fantastic, i went yesterday and it was clean, the people were great and the atmosphere was relaxing. All in all a great experience.
