I don't know if management has changed or what but this chilis isn't as good as it used to be. Â The last 4 times I've gone here me or someone with me has had a hair in their food......gross!!!!! Â The plates are dirty all of the time and the food is always cold. One night my husband and I waited over 45 minutes in our car for our to go order after we got their 20 minutes after placing our order. Â Apparently they forgot we had been sitting outside for almost an hour! Our food was cold and they didn't even apologize! We used to be regulars but we have different favorite restaurants now.
Review Source:What can you say, its Chili's and every now and then I need a Chili's fix. The menu keeps getting bigger yet still the food is just average. The chips and salsa is a steal and the staff keeps your drink filled constantly. Of the menu items the ribs and fajitas are top notch. The place is always packed so be prepared to wait a bit during the dinner hours and if you are calorie counting- forget it, this place packs the calories by the ton. You can try the low calorie options but that's no fun when you come here. Splurge and then go work out later.
Review Source:I suppose everyone pretty much knows you get what you pay for at Chili's, and I've always been less-than-thrilled with their low calorie options (why are you putting fried tortilla strips on your diet meals? Why do none of the salads qualify as under 750 calories?), but my latest visit was quite unpleasant.
I ordered a side of cinnamon apples with my meals and bit into a large chunk of onion. There were quite a few in the dish. I was told by the manager (who took over 10 minutes to come to our table after we let our waitress know there was a problem), that they keep the fruits and vegetables right next to each other, and in particular the apples and onions are side by side, and sometimes they get mixed up.
That's a little disconcerting to someone who happens to know people with some pretty severe food allergies. I know someone who is allergic to onion who would've had a far worse reaction than I to this dish. I merely gagged and couldn't finish my food.
They ended up offering to remake my cinnamon apples (no thanks!) and the manager took half off my meal. Not the entire check, mind you, just my meal, even though my fiance at the time couldn't finish his, either, because he was fairly concerned I might get sick at the table.
I do want to mention the waiting staff was actually very attentive and got me more water and at least four waitresses/waiters stopped by to make sure I was all right before the manager got there. That was sweet.
I would just be careful if you happen to have an allergy to a fruit or veggie that could apparently easily get mixed up here.
Always great staff and food. On line ordering for take out something of a challenge, couldn't complete order on line so had to phone it in, hopefully they'll fix that.
Some minor issues in kitchen in getting orders correct. After picking up order and leaving they called to let us know they forgot to put something in the bag, so we turned around to get it and they added a dessert ;-)!
After we got home found out order was incorrect (asked for a plain/dry burger but got a regular burger, my kid was not happy).
Called them, their awesome manager comped us a free burger on our next stop! Promised the kid I'd go get it the next day for lunch and I did. Not only did they comp the burger they gave us a gift certificate too!
You've got to give Chili's credit for good service when they make mistakes, they are very proactive in TAKING CARE OF CUSTOMERS! Something a few other  local restaurants can learn to keep Customers happy and coming back to spend their hard earned money.
So we call in our order and when we arrive Taylor i think her name was working the cars said we must have called the wrong one. Then she refuses to take our order and says we have to come inside. I have socks on and no shoes but she then said we couldn't order until we called the other Chilis to cancel. We had to wait another 30 minutes. I had to go in Chilis with socks on because she wouldn't take my order from the car. We LOVE This CHILIS and go once a week on the average but next time I will demand the manager. I just didn't have the energy and was starving!
Review Source:I love chilis. Go to the one near my home all the time! This one however is crap. The food was the same. Nothing changed that. But the HOSTESS WAS TERRIBLE! We walked in had 2 kids with us and she just stood there. Like as if she never worked there before. My sister finally said 'yeah it's just us and the 2 kids' and she said oh right.
The kids are 1 1/2 so they need high chairs and booster seats.
So then she said you guys can just sit over there and pointed at the bar area. That was it. No nice. No manners. No nothing. Then turns around and looks in her pocket mirror.
So we go over there and I go back and ask for booster seat and I ASK FOR 2 and she says oh yeah sorry. And goes and gets 1. I said no I need to. Now I'm annoyed b/c this idiot is so concerned about looking in the mirror as opposed to doing her job. So she goes and gets me another on and it has ketup on it! I say this is dirty. I look at her and say really?
She was such a ding bat!
Damn girl get it together. She had long black hair and so much makeup on. To concerned about her appearance than her job.
Good food, great service. It was a little busy but it was a Friday. The only complaint was the huge table of disrespectful kids behind us. Not Chili's fault but there were a few times were I was tempted to say something.
Not a good place to go to relax but overall a good time. As a server I have to give a shout out to our server. I wish I remembered her name but she was a nice young blonde girl. She did an awesome job :)
When my wife and I came in, half of the restaurant was empty. Even still, we still had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. It wasn't near closing time. There weren't any sectioned off areas. I don't really understand they wait, but we weren't in any hurry.
The service was pretty average for these places, nothing to complain about. Our waitress was nice.
The food was good. Nothing amazing, but we did't expect to be blown away.
They did screw up our bill by charging us for some deserts for a table over. I almost didn't notice it, but once I did, they were good about fixing it.
Boooooo!!!! Absolutely terrible place to dine at. "Reservations" are a joke. I couldn't have asked for a worse experience at this Chili's. Management incapable of seating people in correct order and having an accurate wait time. We were told 20 minutes when we first arrived, this wait turned into a HOUR AND A HALF OF WAITING HELL!!!
You can count on me NEVER coming back here again.
Suck it Chili's. Thanks for ruining a 'quick' birthday dinner with my family. Jerks
I was out grabbing lunch with my dad and suggested eating out at another place but he drove here instead because he likes it better...hah.
It was happy hour so we wanted to order happy hour food but ended up not really ordering anything happy hour-like. We ordered their new jumbo pretzel sticks with cheese sauce, their new grilled shrimp tacos, and a small bowl of their house chilli. We ordered molten lava cake for dessert.
Pretzel sticks - $5.47 or something. Pretty good. I asked for light salt which they obliged. Comes with cheese sauce but they also provided mustard in case we wanted it. I'd say this is pretty tasty, although very very very buttery. 4 sticks per serving.
Grilled shrimp tacos - $10.47. Grilled shrimp with chili-lime sauce, cilantro seasoned cabbage, avocado slice, on flour tortilla served with rice and beans. Sounds pretty good, but it was....no. I think it could have been good with me if it weren't for that chili-lime sauce. It was...strangely sweet. A very sweet glaze. I don't approve of it at all. The rice was meh but with beans, it becomes bearable. The beans were probably the best part of that plate and that's not saying much.
Chili - my dad didn't like it. I tasted it. I didn't like it. It didn't taste too savory and something about the seasoning was off. They added a lot of...lime or something because it tasted sour. It just wasn't good.
Molten Lava Cake - this cake saved the meal because it was good. You can't really go wrong with warm cake with cold vanilla ice cream. My only criticism about this dessert is that it wasn't warmed up enough because the 'lava' was not flowing at all. It was a hockey puck of chocolate within the cake.
As good as I expect Chili's to be. Service was nice though.
The food is usually great, no matter what I get. I usually go here for lunch. They have an excellent lunch deal: I got half a grilled sandwich, fries, and a salad that filled me up for $6. It was fantastic!
I've come here on occasion for dinner. Sometimes the food is a little salty, a little greasy. Not horrible, however. I usually order the same stuff 'cause I find that some of the items taste the same because of the seasoning(s) they use.
Salad wise, the buffalo chicken salad is really good. I am not a fan of the Cajun chicken alfredo, but my mom really likes it and orders it every time.
They have a small menu for happy hour and will give you free chips and salsa if you're sitting in the bar.
Service is always as helpful as they can be, even when they were severely understaffed one day.
Not my favorite place, but a-ok in my book. Would go back.
No buffalo sauce on my BUFFALO CHICKEN SALAD! Booo! Hello!?! I love this Chili's but the lunch crew always misses something! I vow to from now on for my own good to check the salad before I leave the to-go parking lot!!
With this experience only I give it a 3 stars. Other experiences I've had seem to always be positive. I will eat here again and again....the boneless buffalo salad calls me! It makes my mouth water....oh heck just thinking about it now is making my mouth water and its not even noon!!
If I could I would put NO STARS. Come on its Chili's had it a million times in a million places and this place is terrible. Construction causing it to be a mess, terrible service, and inedible (literally) food. Even my 15 year old would not eat his burger. Now thats pretty bad. I'll frequent a diff Chilis BUT NEVER AGAIN this one.
Review Source:Me and my wife came out to have a late dinner at this place last nite. I had the pick 3 (cheesesteak sandwich, blackened chicken sandwich and southwestern eggrolls) and my wife had the trio fajita. I say we were satisfied with the food.
Why 2 stars? Horrible service !!! The guy seem doesn't care. My wife ordered coffee. When he brought the coffee he didn't even brought a spoon. Well, how can you stir a hot coffee without any spoon?! Â We have to ask for our silverwares. The food came out with a dirty plate! Â And I have to flag him to refill my water.
We been here several times and we somewhat satisfied with the service. We are still coming back? Well, it's not going to be our first choice.
go here every friday night and sit at the Bar. The two regular bartenders are pretty awesome! Rhianna and Jeanie, always pour a strong drink and are real nice and funny. This is usually a launching point on fridays fro me and my friends. Start at the chilis and then off to the bars!!! ooohhhh yeeeeeeaaaah!!!!
Review Source:This location is either super empty or has a line out the door with a 45 minute wait time.
First experience was fine.
Second experience...not so.
The server was changed 3 times, hence our order was messed up twice. So we had to send back our food. And I hate sending food back.
The servers never checked up on us to make sure our food was ok, or anything. We had to call servers to get more beer and napkins. But when it was time for us to pay the bill (tip time) they were right there!!
Its ok though, most of the employees/servers are young, so its understandable.
Next time..happy hour for sure!!!
Chili's is bad for you. No, really. This restaurant chain is found to have the highest amounts of sodium than any other sit-down restarurant. Whatever, atleast I know that my body will be preserved well after I have already died because of the sodium intake that I do while chomping down on a jalenpeno burger.
I've eaten at this Chili's, and any other Chili's for that matter, a total of like 3 or 4 times. I've just never been a Chili-head. I can't get into their menu because it is all pretty heavy/greasy/high in sodium. The decor, menu, prices, and specials are pretty standard.
I tried calling in my order for pick up. I was placed on hold three times. By the time I finally connected with someone, the phone hung up/cut out. Darn.
In times past when I have actually sat down to eat, I experienced very lame (A.K.A. terrible) table service. For this reason I opted to take out. Also, in the past bar service has been pretty mediocre.
I drove to the restaurant and waited in the lobby area for a good 4 minutes. In restaurant time, that is essential -- and by minute 4, my impression of this place has already plummeted. I know, I'm harsh, but I was a waitress once. I know.
A girl finally greeted me and then told me I needed to go to the "pick-up" area... yeah, didn't know about that. Once I was there, a girl named Stephanie knew I was businees. She took my order, executed payment, and had me sitting and waiting in like 3 minutes flat. This was nice because I was not in the mood for chit chat and really just wanted some damn heart-attack food.
I ordered their special right now -- 2 entrees and an appetizer for $20 -- alongside a jalepeno burger, corn chowder soup. All were very tasty (read: salty). Me likes.
Within 15 minutes, I had my food. It was packaged very nicely and in such a pragmatic order. Yes, this matters to me. I came home, ate half of my food, and then thought about how much I should go to the gym and drink some water. Then, I watched Sunday Night Football. It was a good Sunday.
The boys and I( ages 9 and 14) went in for an early meal today and were greeted by the bartender, Sara. We were going to get a booth but she insisted we come up to the bar and enjoy our meal there. We did and she delivered the most pleasant customer service.
We ordered the queso dip and chips to start. Instead of bringing the dip in the normal skillet, she split it so we wouldn't have to reach over each other. A nice touch.
She was very attentive and just delivered a nice experience.
Oh...the burgers were good, too.
First of all, I have to say this Chili's aint like any other Chilis. It actually holds a lot of sentimental value to me. Why? Because it was the first place Adam and I hung out outside of where we first met (the gym). Yup. It was a Sunday morning in September. We met up to shoot some hoops and the sly dude said, "Hey...do you wanna go to Chilis and have lunch? I think the 49ers game is on too." I said yes, and the rest is history.
Tonight, Lovie and I went back to have drinks as I ordered dinner to go for my moms. It was fun to share stories of the last time we were there together like how he was nervous around me and how I was unusually talkative because I was kinda nervous too. Stories like that.
My mom couldn't resist those latest Chilis commercials with their avocado burger. I ordered her one and I ordered sliders for myself. I had one little slider and a bite of her avocado burger. All of which was on par.
We'll be back again when we feel like reminiscing.
I love chili's as a rule but this one is unpredictable at best. One time you go in and the service is slow, manager doesn't care and food is cold. The next time its fantastic all around. I would characterize it as the Forrest gump of restaurants (like a box of chocolates you never know what you re gonna get until you open it).
Review Source:Let me preface this review by saying that I actually have nothing whatsoever against Chili's as an establishment. I find the food pleasant overall and the restaurant itself, along with its products and servers, is really quite inoffensive. In fact, I quite like the black bean burger--or I used to. Haven't had one in years. If I weren't being bigoted and horrible, I would probably give Chili's as a chain 3 or 3.5 stars.
But I'm a bitch and this Chili's is in Antioch, the "town" I blushingly (with shame) call home. It wasn't even my first choice of the evening. I had wanted to go to Schooner's, but fearing that it was closed, had opted to go to the Red Rhino sports bar. However, upon pulling up in front of Red Rhino, I was shocked and dismayed to discover an abnormally large group of meatheads and Barbie dolls. Not that they were pretty. Don't get me wrong. It was just such an explosion of the particular type of douchebagery that is rarely seen (by me) outside of Contra Costa County. Clearly, I wasn't going to subject my friend or myself to the mind-numbing idiocy that would be contained within the blue neon-tinted walls of Red Rhino.
So I figured we should go to Chili's instead. It's close and I knew it would be open. Okay. So we go. First thing I notice is a typical group of Antioch douchers standing outside...by the dumpster. Were they smoking crank or something that they needed to hide? Honestly, who hangs out by dumpsters? Even smokers don't sink that low (and I know, because I was one for years). Whatever. Douchebags. Then we go inside, are quickly seated, and I am able to look around a little. Normal Chili's decor, of course, but filled with even MORE Antioch DOUCHEBAGS!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Our waiter was nice and attentive. The draft beer menu was pathetically brief. The queso was exactly what I expected it to be (salty, a little spicy, and with plenty of meat chunks for me to pick around). The fries were decent, as most fries tend to be. The dessert (chocolate chip cookie molten cake, or whatever) was pretty good. I now want to vomit slightly. But that's my own fault.
I was explaining to my friend in the restaurant how I think places like Antioch tend to attract the sort of people who are more than content to patronize unexceptional chains rather than take risks going to new, independent establishments. And, of course, many kids who grow up in the burbs are just douches. So that is largely who eats at this Chili's. If that's your scene, more power to you. We won't have a confrontation because I don't spend time with people of your ilk. But it's not me, and it's not my taste.
So 3 stars for the place overall, but 2 stars because of the clientele and location. Barfo!
I ate here over the weekend. I usually goto the Pittsburg location, where the service is horrible and had kept me from trying this location.
the Antioch Chili's location is so far above in both service and food quality, any other's that i've tried, I plan on making it one of my regular weekly runs.
Our server (Zurli) was fantastic, quick to respond to our needs, kept our drinks filled and always seemed to know when to check on us.
I highly recommend this Chili's location.
It's a Chili's - what's not to like??
It's restaurant style bar and grill food! Â
I love that I can place a to-go order - repeat it twice for accuracy and it still ends up being wrong.
In any event, I'm still a fan of Chili's - its quick, great variety, affordable and fun.
I'd dine in more often if your drinks were stronger. Â Jussst sayin'.
I hate that you use huge styrofoam to go containers.
I have probably been to this Chili's location more than enough times in my lifetime. Most of them were wonderfully amazing, some of them included non-stop laughter and fun, but my last experience changed my perspective of this certain Chili's completely...
My boyfriend and I have gone here once or twice before this awfully awaking experience. They were a-okay good experiences too! The food was good and the staff was pretty nice and friendly. Unfortunately, we experienced something completely opposite at our previous visitation. We ordered our usual Grill Cheese and Root Beer while my boyfriend ordered his usual Burger Bites and strawberry lemonade. Delish, right? Unfortunately not....
I was just finishing the first half of my grilled cheese while my boyfriend was starting his second Burger Bite when the unexpected had happened. Luckily he has a good eye! He looked at his burger and there was a single strand of long hair that was cooked INSIDE the actual patty. We couldn't of been more disgusted and furious. We told our waiter and the manager came and paid our bill. Surprisingly... they asked us if we wanted anything else to eat... are you kidding me? Afterwords another party of two who was sitting next to us asked us what happened and what was found in our food, and hopefully they will spread the word too.
PS: there's a picture.. it's not the clearest, but it's proof!

I've neve rhad an awful experience here. I've wait all of 5 minutes at the  most. The food gets there in a timely manner, they are always sweet to my daughter who spills at least 3 times before we leave, drops all the sugar packets on the floor and occasionally makes art on the table :)
I will def be back!
"Why does everyone want to eat at the same place at the same time", said Mrs. Grandma who sat next to me while waiting for our tables to be called. Â Exactly what I was thinking Mrs. Grandma. Â Last Friday night was crack-a-lacking. Â Never been to Chili's where we had to wait 30 minutes for a table of 2. Â Oh wells.
Ordered the Cajun Chicken sandwich w/ fries. Â Pretty good. Â Also had a Tropical Sunrise margarita.. very much watered down where I couldn't even taste the alcohol. Â Whatever. Â Our server was very nice despite the complaints. Â =)
Standard Chili's restaurant- they did nothing here that they don't do at any other Chili's. Â I called ahead to place my name on the list instead of just walking in, and we were seated within 5 minutes. Â Service was fine even though it was really busy that Friday night (when is it not?). Â The only complaint I had was that my corn on the cob was ice cold. Â Other than that, just a typical experience at Chili's.
Review Source:I just had lunch there today. Â I've been there before and I usually like it well enough. Â Today was no different! Â :)
I had the steak fajitas. Â Delicious! Â Our waitress did a great job. Â She filled both our ice teas without either of us asking. Â My friend had the buffalo wings salad and seemed to like it.
Good service, tasty food. Â Not bad for lunch time! Â :)
