I was iffy about this place on first recommendation but Bases Loaded surpassed all expectations I had. I came for the Monte Christo, which was great. Better than the Madonna Inn & oddly enough it's deep fried in Beer Batter instead of the traditional egg wash.

I also got to sample some yummy Tri-Tip & Pulled Pork. This meat is smoked to perfection, very sweet tasting. I was really pleased with this because it's hard to find some good BBQ in the area.

The restaurant was nice, much cleaner than I expected (especially in lovely Antioch). The only real negative was the service was kinda mediocre & the dreaded Pepsi. Who the hell likes Pepsi over Coke? Especially with salty-sweet foods? I guess there are a few of you weirdos out there but to me it's just plain blasphemy.

We've been hearing good things about the NEW Bases Loaded so 4 of us decided to go for dinner after a matinee at El Campanil Theatre.  We each ordered something different intentionally so that we could evaluate the food.  My pulled pork sandwich was great, my wife's burger was obviously fresh ground beef cooked perfectly and our friend's half-rack of ribs was meaty and plentiful.  Excellent fresh-cut french fries & garlic fries, very good onion rings & a wonderful fresh fruit side accompanied our meals.  Service was very good and we felt the price was reasonable for what we received.  Definitely will recommend to our friends.

I've heard about this restaurant for quite some time, I didn't realize it was under new ownership until we arrived.

I was impressed with the amount of TV they had going on with the various sports, not just all focused in on one channel or one sport.

We were seated right away, the waitress was very quick to take our drink orders and friendly at that.

We ordered the Nacho's and then the cheeseburger. The Nacho's were probably the biggest serving of nacho's I've ever seen and the pork on it was to die for. It had a bit of a kick to it but you didn't have an empty chip anywhere.

The burger was awesome...juicy, seasoned well...100% Angus beef...their fries were crisp but not burnt....

Our drinks were never empty either, the server was there making sure our needs were met.

Definitely a fan of this place...I'm going back!!!
