Overall, this place is OK for Widbey Island. It was one of the couple places open on a Sunday. So, we decided to check this place out.

The food is OK. Not the authentic food they usually have at Chinese restaurants. The food was slightly salty and the best description is La Choy Chinese canned food.

I'm not a picky eater, but if my mother wanted to eat Chinese food, I would probably take her elsewhere in Seattle/Bellevue.

The only way to know for yourself is to check it out yourself and let others know.

PS - They do have a cool bar place on the other side of the restaurant :)

Nice facade, fairly modern interiors accented by traditional decor. Bar area has a more modern feel with lots of wood panels and crystal chandelier hanging from the ceiling. The menu is extensive with a good mix of proteins, vegetables and starch. We ordered the lumpia to start (6 pcs, crispy with sweet and sour sauce), hot and sour soup, house fried rice, broccoli beef and walnut shrimp. We asked that our entire order be served altogether as we were in a rush. All the food came after about 10 minutes. All were average, but the hot and sour soup was spot on! I also would have liked more sauce on the walnut shrimp. Service was good - our server was friendly, helpful with the menu and checked back sevaral times.

Being gluten-free is not the easiest when it comes to eating Chinese food since so many dishes and sauces contain soy sauce. The waiter knew when I asked what dishes would be gluten-free and answered with confidence (the white sauces). The food was your average Chinese food and nothing really exciting, but the service was quick and very good.
