We went to Chloe's for the 2nd time this year for Dinner with my parents. Â We had a http://Restuarant.com coupon which is why we chose to go here. Â The food was very good. Â Service was fine. Â There was no problem using our http://Restuarant.com coupon. Â As a matter of fact, we were a few dollars short on the purchase amount required and the waitress let us know that before bringing out bill and suggested we order a dessert to take home to make it up to the correct purchase amount. Â The actual decore is unimpressive and the place is actually rather small, but it's worth a visit.
Review Source:The plus side: Service is very good. Everyone was friendly and very helpful.
Sunday brunch is just OK, far from great. The omelet station has 4 or 5 ingredients, the pancakes were chewy, Â the meats were very very salty.
I am surprised people think the Sunday brunch is special. Â It caters to the unhealthy.
Dinner : Â Sit on the patio overlooking the gulf if possible. It's quite serene. So try the Macadamian crusted grouper - very tasty. Â
Crab stuffed flounder - great as well but skip the cheddar rice it comes with unless you like rice-r -roni.
Pineapple bread was very tasty. Â Caesar salad was not. Â
So, we realized there is no really "great food" at Fort Myers beach but if you like eating relatively healthy, come here for the fish and veggies.
Everywhere is seems to be all about fried everything. Â Nothing wrong with a little of that but for several days at every meal, it's not happening.
helpful hints:
Getting a bowl of fresh fruit is almost impossible at certain hours from Chloe's so hit up the market and leave it in your suite.
Coffee to go in the a.m. - not free but free refills til 11 a.m. for those who like caffeine before lazy beach days packing water sports, bacardi punches and bloody marys.
The food here is ok. Â The staff is very very friendly and attentive. Â I love the service. Â The prices are a bit high and the atmosphere is lacking for a nice restaurant. Â It reminds me of a coffee shop actually. Â Good for breakfast but not really that nice for dinner. Â I did love their jam for the bread. Â It had a nice little kick to it.
Review Source:Friendly service, but the food comes up short.
Great pepper jelly served with okay bread.
Good salads.
Disappointing seafood entrees. We had the grouper and it came with a gross (looking and tasting) purple sauce, crab-stuffed flounder (meh, okay), and the mushroom-lobster snapper (yuck!). Â The rice on the side was inedible - we all skipped it.
At $25 an entree we hoped for better.
Dull hotel atmosphere.

I wouldn't return, though my parents probably would.
We decided to give this place another try. We were last here about a year ago. We ate outside overlooking the pool and Fort Myers Beach. Nice view & it was warm.
The wine list sadly remains PATHETIC, so we opted for Amstel Lights to accompany our meal. Nice & refreshing.
For dinner we had the Tortuga Snapper, which comes with mushrooms, scallions, lobster and a sauce Béarnaise. The snapper was overcooked & I couldn't taste any lobster, although it may have been there. It came with a baked potato that I took home for another day. My wife had the Seafood Sicily, which consisted of Clams & Bay Scallops simmered in a wine sauce over nicely al dente pasta. Most of the pasta came home for another day.
This place caters to the short term beach tourist and seems to do a good job of it.
