the bar is under investigation for tax evasion and it shows. weak service and avoid barmaid stephanie in particular. worst of what the local rotation of servers has to offer. awful at the old brannigans in red bank. no better here. note to owner: lose the dead weight and get a new staff. blockheads at the door doesnt help either.

Craig you did a great job!
So one of my absolute favorite bartenders left Hoboken over a year ago to buy into this place. Â I finally get a chance to check it out and like I expected... it was good times.
Revolving beer taps manned by gracious and attentive bartenders with excellent food all at great prices with a big outdoor space = win!
Looks small from the outside but really opens up when you get inside - you'll find a great example of what a divey sports bar should be.
+1 for the soccer goals in the bathroom like at Mulligans... a nice touch!
Had bad food, bad service, but at least tried some new tasty beers.
Ordered the rib burger which came out with literally no seasoning. Fries were nothing to write home about either, and my dinner companions all had very "meh" reactions to their calamari and 50/50 burger.
We came on a Friday night and they had two waitresses serving a full bar and seating area. Service was agonizingly slow and it took us literally half an hour from the time we finished our food to pay and leave.
If I come back it'll only be to have a beer.
I love the name, so I just had to stop by and check it out.
Pretty decent beer selection, so a pint of Dogfish 60 ended up in front of me. What to eat? I asked the the bartender and she 'highly suggested' the wings with Chubby Sauce. I hesitated. "WTF is that," I wondered in fear (insert joke here). Okay sure, what the heck. Well, I have to admit, she was right. The whole dozen were really good; crispy, tasty and not very spicy, a nice change of pace from the hot or buffalo sauce I usually get.
Speaking of the bartender, she was on point serving the whole bar, which was sizable and busy. I was impressed with her efficiency. Add in their affordable prices, a decent local band with no cover and a young, enthusiastic crowd this was a gem of a find on the bay.
The menu sounded SO good I wanted one of everything... It all ended up being  Standard bar fare done extra spicy, pretty disappointed. It wasn't awful but I wouldn't come back for the food. It had such potential too! The tempura chicken fingers were over done both times we ordered them but they were decent. I'd have liked them to be light & crispy like expected and while they were crispy they did not seem like a real tempura batter. And $9 for 4 small pieces (no fries) seems like a lot of money for little food for a sports bar. The chili was not bad but was drowned in cheese which sort of ruined it, No chips. Another $9. The onion rings were not bad but not spectacular. The boneless chicken wings were just very small chicken nuggets. The homemade blue cheese sauce had no chunks of cheese.. The best part. I'd give this place 2 for food and 4 for ambiance. So 3 overall. Small-ish & cozy, fun, live band, nice bartenders, not too crowded. There was almost a fight between locals but they got over it fast. They have a fun wheel that they spin every hour to determine the next shot special. Like my husband said, decent for bar food! I was hoping for more though. Even though the bartenders were very nice one of them was getting a little annoying with her constant requests to do shots even though I repeatedly told her no. She was trying to be nice but it was getting irritating. I'd still like to come back and try the 50/50 burger (ground bacon & beef!) though, I hope it will not disappoint!
