The Cigar Republic

I am glad I stumbled upon this place.  It has a really good atmosphere and the service is great...and WHAT a selection of beer and wine!

My husband and I are traveling from South Carolina throughout Florida. I planned a scavenger hunt for my husband and The Cigar Republic was part of it. Great experience! The employee went above and beyond what was expected. The other patrons also made us feel very welcome. Nice selection of cigars, great wine, and my husband loved the expresso. Just wish they were closer to us...

A great new addition to Treasure Island.  Situated between The Pearl and Wahoo's on 107th Ave in downtown TI, the Cigar Republic is a convenient stop before and after dinner or drinks.  The owners Joel and Debbie are wonderful hosts and very knowledgeable about cigars.  Based on Joel's recommendation I would suggest the Magna Robusto, very full bodied with great flavor.  They also have a good selection of beers, wine, port and an espresso bar.  Stop by the next time you are in TI.

Update: Magna XL is a great choice as well, very similar to the Robusto but even a bit bigger in taste.  I also had the Magna Reserva, which is a square press medium bodied stick, very nice when you don't want big flavor.
