This place apparently gave up on trying to do something unique with their space. Â Used to go there quite regularly to see some interesting original music. Â Now lately all they seem to book are white bread cover bands. Â I can't say anything nice about the food, its bowling alley food, Â so it sucked by nature. Â The drinks are over priced, and the place is always understaffed. Â Used to see interesting shows there though. Â Megabeast and Squish Mitten (?) (pretty sure that was their name) were real fun and always kept me coming back. Â Nowadays whats the point? Â I'll stick to the downtown area.
Review Source:Haven't had a worse meal in quite some time now.  Since we dont drink, our sobriety may have had something to do with realizing how low quality the meal was here.  For starters I asked for an iced tea.  No.  OK how about a lemonade.  Ummmm no again.  Next we got the cheese and chicken nachos.  We found out why they were taking so long when the bartenderwaitress (yes she was doing both for the whole friggin place and we were pretty far from the bar) came over and said she couldnt in good conscience give us the burnt nachos that the chef gave her.  So 10 minutes later we got them.  Other than the cheap and overly salty chips the dark meat chewy chicken left a lot to be desired.  If we were given more than a tiny cup of salsa and sour cream I guess we could have enhanced the  flavor but I wasnt going to go across the whole room and ask the bartenderwaitress to go out of her way for more.  I got the steak tips, or should I say beef jerky niblets and my wife got the ziti and meatballs which she said was adequate except for the fact the meatballs were obviously of the frozen variety.  The french fries probably would have been pretty good if I could have found them under the grease and salt.  My son had the grilled cheese which we were told was on the menu by the bartender waitress until she looked and couldnt find it herself.  Oops, its not on there huh?  Now I know that this is adjacent to a bowling alley and I shouldnt expect much in the way of quality but when we got the bill (and now I remind you we dont drink) it came to $43 ($52 because we always tip the working people well) I would have to say a return trip is not in our future.
