CJ Mahoney's

Tonight was the second and probably the last time I will go to this establishment.  While my first visit about a month ago was satisfactory, tonight's visit was an elongated evening of frustrations.  I should have gone with my my gut early on in the visit when it said to leave.  The seat yourself sign was displayed, so we found an empty table and sat down, it was at least 5 minutes before a hostess recognized that the table had new customers and delivered menus, told us who our waitress was, and took our drink order.  It was then at least another 5 minutes before our waitress arrived with our drinks and asked us if we were ready to order.  We ordered appetizers and indicated we wanted to review the menu for a few more minutes before placing a dinner order.  We waited for a least 15 minutes without any attention from our server before she came by and noticed an empty glass on the table and asked if we wanted another round.  After returning this the drink order we finally placed our dinner order.  it was about another 10 minutes that pasted before one of the two appetizers that we ordered finally came out via a kitchen runner: cheese and crackers.  We anticipated that the other appetizer, potato skins, would be following right behind, but alas we were wrong.  About 5 minutes later our meals arrived via a kitchen server who also indicated that the potato skins should be out shortly.  We asked that that order just be cancelled.  The food was ok.  We then had to wait again after finishing our meal to be addressed by our waitress to request our bills.  Overall a very frustrating experience that will my first thought whenever C.J. Mahoney's name is mentioned to me in the future.

I've been here a few times for happy hour or dinner and drinks.  Their menu is pretty good for a small local sports bar.  My favorite item on their menu is the nachos, its awesome!  Plus they have great specials for happy hour and a $3.99 menu which includes sliders, buffalo wings, cheese bread, and a few other items.  Their wait staff is ok depending who you get, they're either great and attentive or sometimes ditzy and snobby.

As far as service goes, it SUCKS. We usually go there since its so close to our house or else we wouldn't go at all! Out of all the times we've been there only about 2 servers actually showed they had a PERSONALITY. All the others were very rude and made you feel like you were putting them out of their way.
