I just went here for the first time last night and was amazed, not by the specialty beers which were surprisingly abundant, but by the food we ordered.  The margarita pizza melts it your mouth, it is very good.  The pastrami on Rye was nicely toasted and swiss cheese was melted nicely inside.  I know its a side dish but the fries knocked my socks off, they were that good.  The server we had was very friendly.  My wife and I went there with a two year old and 5 mo. old and had a very pleasant experience.  I would recommend this place to families as well.

I don't know how this place isn't packed?!

I have been here numerous times at different times& days, and it is a ghost town! The food is great, I can't seem to branch off from the pulled pork sandwich with side salad (the vinaigrette is yummy!) it is just that good, &  we always have to get truffle fries for the table to share. My husband always enjoys the different burgers he orders. The only downside to this restaurant is how slow it takes for your food to come out. It's empty, and still takes quite a while...

&& The beer is pretty good too!

Bottom line, if you are in San Dimas, and hungry, go try Clayton's out, it is yummy!

After riding Glendora Mountain Road, me and a couple of buddies decided to try this place out, and I must say it was a great experience. The server was nice, friendly, attentive, and speedy. Three of us decided to try their house beers and we were all satisfied. I got the Mt. Baldy Blonde, and two other friends got the Bro David and Quadraphenia. The menu was just right, not too many and not too little on the list. The food itself was delicious. We chose the white truffle garlic Parmesan fries and Buffalo Wings Inferno. Can' wait to try the other choices on the menu such as the Pork Fries and the Calamari Provencale. The pricing was just right; a price that won't break the wallet! Very satisfied with this place and will definitely be coming back. Great way to end the day after cruising Glendora Mountain Road! Thanks Clayton Brewing Co!

The best words to describe the place is OK and average.  Its as if you took a fairly cool place with a nicely done interior and comfortable seating with a good sound and modern vibe and service that is efficient and served food from a really average diner. There is really nothing bad to say,  but nothing really great to say either. The meal was completely forgettable and average... We start with the mac-n-cheese. I think they took Kraft mac and doctored it up a little. Good size portion for two... but after two bites you felt you had had enough. My wife ordered the All-American burger and they forgot the onions. The burger tasted like a premade burger, bland and forgettable.  I ordered the pulled pork sandwich, it was good sized and the bun was soft, not a lot of flavor to the bun- like at Eureka in Claremont. The BBQ sauce was pretty good, but again...eh. I don't want to sound like a gastropub snob but this place has real potential. Its in a good location and with some tweaking it could be good. The beer selection was ok,  nothing jumped out you or made you think that you were seeing anything different.  If you know the owner-tell them to stop doing the formula and really try to make this place special. Its like thinking you are going to a cool party and it ends up being a birthday for your neighbors 65-year old mother-in-law. Nice, but hardly spectacular. I am already forgetting the meal...

Finally... a great spot to have in San Dimas! I am so excited for my hometown.  They brew 6 of the beers -- the IPA was pretty good. The truffles fries were perfect!  I was going to ask for extra sauce until I realized the fries were placed atop the sauce and then covered with more sauce so that each perfectly crisp fry had a splash of truffle goodness.  The lobster burger was another delicious treat. Pieces of lobster filled the center of the burger and a couple of bacon strips placed on top of that, with some coleslaw, all between two pieces of bun.  They also have a mushroom and brie soup that was a yummy side but probably could have used more mushrooms.  I will definitely come back!

Awesome waitress. Nice little spot. Went hiking with friends and my cousin recommended this spot. Try the pork fries. And have a Mt Baldy Blonde. Enjoy.

Burgers are great, fries are wonderful and their house brew beers are killer.

Looking forward to going back to this little gem !

The beers were tasty. I loved they had other peoples beers on tap as well.
The food was good. A little pricey however it was still good!
I would for sure come back and recommend it to others.
Only complaint is the music volume was too low so it made for a weird don't make too much noise in here kinda vibe.

Came here for dinner and arrived before happy hour ended. We were able to order 2 beers and 3 appetizers for $24. We ordered the salmon tacos (4 came on a plate with a plenty of salmon and a semi-spicy sauce), the 4-inch margarita pizza (complete with pesto), and the Mediterranean bruschetta (marinated olives, artichokes, and peppers). All was tasty and would definitely bring me back to try their other entrees, burgers, sandwiches, and salads. The waitstaff was definitely gracious of our service.

Came in today for lunch - never been here before. I originally was going to eat at a Mexican restaurant across the parking lot, but nobody greeted me when I walked in, so I left, and thought I would give Clayton Brewing Company a try.

I was greeted immediately by two ladies who were behind the bar, and given a seat at the bar. At the time, there was only one other customer, who appeared to be a friend of the bartender.

I was told the daily specials - wings for $1.00 each, and the soup of the day. I took a few moments to decide, perused the menu, and honestly, nothing really jumped out at me, but I had already sat down and ordered a drink (club soda), and by this time, I was hungry, so I decided to just give the place a try.

I ended up ordering 8 wings (in buffalo sauce) with fries. The girl behind the counter asked if I wanted regular fries or garlic truffle fries. I told her the garlic truffle fries would be fine (more on those later).

While I was waiting for my food, I could not help but overhear the bartender talking with her friend (since the bartender's friend was only two stools over from me) about various guys she was interested in, or parties she had gone to recently. Then the bartender hushed her voice for a few moments and talked softly to her friend, but I could still hear the conversation. I'm sorry, but I don't want to hear about your sex life, or the sex life of your friend. If you want to talk about this kind of stuff, don't do it when there are patrons in the restaurant.

My food took awhile to come out - and at one point I could hear the cook talking to the bartender about how my wings weren't ready yet. Seriously though, I was the only customer in the place when I ordered the food (aside from bartender's friend - who was only drinking). Not a big deal, I told myself, and patiently waited.

My fries came out first - a big stack of fries, with some kind of sauce, I assume to be truffle oil, barely drizzled over the fries. I didn't really taste the garlic, but maybe it was in the semi-non-existant sauce. They were alright - they were french fries. Hot and crunchy, but they didn't wow me as amazing like the bartender promised. The bartender asked if I wanted ketchup for my fries, and I asked for mustard. She brought me a small plastic ramiken of mustard.

A few minutes later my wings came out. I will give them credit for this fact: most of the wings were drummettes, which is what I prefer. They looked big and meaty, however, this is where my compliments stop. As soon as I bit into the wing, I knew they had been frozen, and not fried long enough. They were still "watery" and chewy inside - not fully done. I put that wing aside and tried another - same thing. I tried a few more wings - and some of them were nicely cooked all the way through, but the majority of them were "crispy" (using that term lightly) on the outside, and slimy on the inside.

By this time though, the bar had become rather full, and it appeared the bartender was on her own - the other lady who had greeted me earlier had left. The good news was I no longer had to listen to the bartender talk about her dating life, the bad news was she never came over once to ask me how my food was.

I finally couldn't stomach any more of the wings, and put my card out on the bar to cash out. At this point, bartender was pouring a beer sample for an older woman who had walked in, calling her boss on the phone because another customer wanted to pay for a keg order, and taking care of two other tables.

She finally cashed me out, and that was when I noticed the cost of the fries. Remember how I mentioned I would come back to those? Well, the fries were $7.75. So I paid almost as much for my fries as my entree? I eat out ALL THE TIME, and I have NEVER once paid that much for a side dish. The bartender had made them sound as if they were amazing, and never once hinted they were that expensive. I'm sorry, but your french fries were not worth $8.00. They were FRENCH FRIES on a plate with some kind of liquid barely spread over them.

My final bill was $17.71 for wings which weren't done, and fries which weren't fancy.

So in conclusion, maybe this is a great place to drink and hang out on the weekends, but that's not my scene. I came in for lunch, and I left feeling ripped off.

Based on previous reviews, my husband and I decided to try it. We liked their food a lot - we would go back. This place kinda prides itself on homegrown California items like local wines and beers, which is nice compared to all the other places that promote huge brand names.

The Burger patties were juicy, huge, and delicious. The buns looked bakery fresh- nice, soft, and light. Not rough or dense like other buns. Do yourself a favor also: get garlic fries or sweet potato fries! We had both and they were really good! My husband also had the Clayton locally brewed beer and enjoyed it too!

Our waitress was also really nice and attentive. The music was less than desired though. The soft Kenny G jazz kinda made me sleepy after that huge meal- I suggest something more upbeat like Oldies or some Red Hot Chili Peppers (hey, that's Californian too!)

We went last Friday around 5:15... when we walked in there weren't many tables full and the place smelled like hot grease.  We hesitated and then decided what the heck, let's see what's on tap!

    1) BEER! They have some decent beers on tap.  Problem is, they have 2 very large chalk boards on either side of the restaurant with the beers listed on them and so in trying to decide what one might order, it requires you to look over several tables of people to look at the beer menu.  There isn't one on the tables... one person from another table had to get up and walk to the wall to have a closer look.  SO the people are looking at me, because they think I'm looking at them, when all I'm doing is looking at the wall mounted beer menu.

    2) GREASY STINKY GREASE!  I would like to give the overall rating for this place a single star for the disgusting smell!  I'm not sure if it's a ventilation problem OR they simply need to clean out their fryers!   My husband and I had to shower and dump all our clothes into the hamper right away from the stench... it permeated our hair and skin.  Next day I could still smell it, and found that it was on my husbands coat, so now that has to go to the cleaners!  As well my leather purse I had to sit outside to air it out.

    3) FOOD! To my surprise the inferno chicken wings were good! They were hot and spicy.  Then we split a burger... typical bar food kind of menu.  The burger was supposed to be of a chipotle flavor, but there was none.  They don't ask how you'd like your burger cooked, which is typical of some places that only cook burgers medium.  Well BEWARE, they barely cook their burgers... ours was VERY rare... albeit, tasty and on good bread.  The fries were average and likely picked up a lot of flavor from the millions of things they fry in those stinky fryers.

I will go back there only if this stinky fryer situation is a fluke and they fix it... but if that place always smells like that, they definitely lose any future business from us.

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII didn't love Clayton Brewing Co - I wanted to, but I didn't

I went there for the first time tonight.
My sister and I got their truffle fries, buffalo wings, house salad, I got a cup of their chicken tortilla soup and a diet coke.
The total was 34$ - a tiny bit pricey if you ask me...

Noting was great. I liked the fries themselves, but I'm the 'half inch cut fry' type of gal. The sauce on them was  lacked a little flavor and they could have used some more parmesan cheese flaked over.
The wings were also just alright. They were big but just didn't have a total 'chicken wing' flavor and I did not care for their ranch dressing or the dressing on the salad. The dressing on the salad was what they called 'balsamic' it seemed to be more on the lines of Italian. It also had that sort of think consistency which doesn't seem natural in the vinaigrette salad dressing world.
Lastly is the soup - again, didn't really like it. Think of your basic thick chicken tortilla soup with too much spice to it, not really spicy but like cumin spice.

I thought their menu was really small
some burgers, salads, a few sandwiches and pizzas - sounds like a lot but there really didn't seem to be a whole lot to choose from. [their appetizer selection was good though]

I did however think their service was pretty good until the end of the night when they never came back for the check. I had enough in cash so we just opted to do that instead of the card and left.

I don't think I'll be back unless they revamp their menu. which in that case I'd be willing to give it another try

Too bad, Its pretty nice inside and I would have loved it for a near by place to hit up for drinks
    I hope it gets better!!

6 of us went to Claytons for dinner and Brews.  We are beer lovers and the beer was very good!  However the rest of the experience was horrible.  The servers were nice, but they forgot to bring one of our guests her beer, it took 15 or more minutes for us to flag her down and get the beer.  Then our food, it took an hour to get it!  The hamburger was RAW, had to send it back to be cooked.  Lobster burgers were cold, sent them back, they microwaved the plate and brought it back: now it is rubbery. There were 6 of us and 3 meals got sent back.  (I am not one to send my meal back.  I have only done it a handful of times in my life)  I am pretty sure  all of the fries were frozen fries.  They credited 50% of the burger and 10% off our Lobster burgers, not nearly enough for someone biting into RAW/cold burger meat, cold lobster burger and an hour wait!!

The concept is good, the beer is good, the rest really need work.  We will not be going back, which is disappointing, as we had high hopes for a fun new brewery to hang out at.

I really liked this place. I appreciate nice clean place that offers good craft brews and a punchy menu.

While the food was good, it was not fantastic.  I think the menu was slightly too ambitious.  However, I am glad I went and I would return.

Came here before movie-date night with the GF. Ahi Tuna Salad and the Lobster burger was amazing. The lobster burger had tons of lobster meat and a great platter of sweet potato fries. The ahi tuna salad was a perfect blend of ingredients. Loved the seared outer rim of the tuna with some rawness still inside, making it taste kinda like sashimi!

That was good beer and tasty truffle fries.

Came here for lunch and got the Hoss Rye Lager the mac & cheese, the fries with truffle oil, the albacore tuna melt. The total came out to about $33.

The beer and fries were the most notable part of our lunch.

Our Server, Dina, was friendly and helpful. She had a lot of energy and was very welcoming.

The Place was spacious and surprisingly empty at 1:45pm on a Sunday afternoon.

If I lived here, I'd be a regular.

Family restaurant. Nice build out, and wide menu.

Grilled cheese, burger, salad, the whole bit was very good and about $12 a head with beverage.  Service was very attentive.

Basically a Chili's experience, but better executed. Perfect for families.

I'll go again when in town.

I came here to meet with some girlfriends for dinner :) its so empty! But don't let that fool you... The food is quite delicious!!

We came on taco Tuesday so the tacos were priced at $1.70 per taco. They offer a chicken, a salmon, and a pork taco. Forget about the pork and just get the chicken and the salmon! The flavor on the chicken was amazing! Very pleasantly surprised as i am usually a pork person~ The downside is that the tacos are small so I needed 5 of them to really fill me up! (as you may already know if you read my posts I'm not one to eat a whole lot either!)
The garlic fries were also quite tasty and crisp! It was also happy hour so wines were $4 :) I got the Riesling (my fav!) but it was a bit strong~

Last but not least, our server was so sweet! Loved her! 5/5 overall.

Pulled pork fries, salmon tacos and 9% ABV Shipyard Brewing Smashed Blueberry Beer on draft.

Seriously unreal. For the above mentioned three items AND a 4 choice beer sampler it was under $30.

Going to try to visit every time I drive down to see a show in Pomona.

This is place is pretty awesome! It's much more spacious than a typical cafe since it doubles as a restaurant and a bar!

Atmosphere- very chill, spacious laid back, cafe-esque. There are TVs and music playing but was quiet enough where I went to study for my business law final.

Service- excellent! Our waitress was on top of everything and answered any questions and made recommendations.

Food- It was pretty yummy! My BF got the burger which he said was very good. & I got the soup, salad, half sandwich combo which too was delish! But next time i'm there I'm sure to try a burger and craft beers. Oh & as for drinks, try the Spanish Latte it was amazing!

Price- typical cafe prices close to $10 a meal.

I just missed Happy Hour but I will sure try to come back at that time. All in all, Clayton's is definitely worth trying.

Clayton Brewing is A-ok. The food was good, nothing too incredible. My party ordered the panini and soup combo, salmon tacos, the BBQ pork sandwich, and the southwest egg rolls and everyone seemed to enjoy their food. The southwest egg rolls were good, reminded me of Chili's, but were a little on the salty side. The BBQ pork sandwich was also pretty good, I wish the pork was a little less dry and there was more BBQ sauce.

Happy hour was great too. In addition to the weekday happy hour, they also have Saturday happy hour - I love Saturday happy hours (12-4)! They have a pretty good selection of craft beers for only $4 a pint! Such a great deal!

The service was very attentive. I was honestly a bit surprised that there weren't more people in the restaurant. We came at lunch time on a Saturday and were the only ones in there. Hopefully business picks up for them because it's a cool space, friendly service, and pretty good food. I'd go back for happy hour!

I think the best way to describe this place would be as a spacious restaurant, cafe, and bar all in one. Meaning there's actually a section that's a bit more like a cafe, and a section that's a bit more like a restaurant.

They have some really great happy hour prices on beer, outlets for your laptop, and a small selection of craft brews.

Love that their Coors and Bud section is titled "If You Must."

Clayton Brewing Co is such an awesome place!
I came here on a Friday night for dinner and a beer or 2 with my family. The place was packed so we sat at the bar for a pre-dinner drink. Their beer selection is pretty big and they are very knowledgeable about all the beer/wine they have there.
We were sat pretty quickly and all got something that we were able to share with everyone at the table.

salmon tacos- awesome! so good! I never thought salmon in a taco could be this good.
mac 'n cheese- was good, but nothing special.
tuna melt- delicious! as good as any other tuna melt.
bleu cheese burger- the bomb! meat was juicy and all the toppings were perfect.
American burger (i think that's what its called)- was also delicious! the perfect burger!
salmon burger with bacon- WAS SO AMAZING!!!!!!!!! i did not even think this good be that good, but it was. I can not wait to go back to get this!! I can't get over how unbelievable delicious this burger was!
garlic fries- pretty darn good! but really, how can you go wrong with garlic on french fries.

Clayton Brewing Co also has special events that I am looking forward to checking out! This place is such a perfect spot that was missing in San Dimas!

The owner is so nice (my brother is friends with him!) and the cook was super friendly!

I am already looking forward to going back the next time I am in SD!!

I believe this place is a little newer but after eating there this past Wednesday and I was a little shocked how empty this place was. We went there just at the tail end of happy hour which has some decent drink and appetizer specials (good beer selection). We tried two kinds of wings and the pork fries to start. The wings are big and meaty with a solid buffalo sauce, orange sauce is worth a try too. One in our party prefers his wings a little more crispy he said. The pork fries I think are a must try, at least once, how often do you have fries with Sriracha?

We each had burgers for the main course, I went all american and the other tried the bleu bacon. It is a big hunk of a burger that is cooked pretty well done. It tasted good, nothing crazy and we both agreed that the buns were a little to much bread, I believe they were home made though.

All in all we would definitely return for another happy hour, could be a great place to check out before Montana's on a Friday or Saturday evening. Another note was the our server was amazing, granted the place was dead. If you are in the area, give this place a try.

In the Claremont / San Dimas area for work, I figured I'd stop by Clayton for dinner.  First off, Clayton does not actually brew their beers.  Instead, per the waitress, they contract out a larger brewery (e.g. Firestone) who provides them with generics that they stick their name on.  This isn't an unusual practice, but a little deceiving when the place has "brewing co" in their name.  That said, the beer is good, but nothing special or out of the ordinary.

The food itself was also pretty standard, nothing special but ok for the price.  The food at Red Robin across the street would have probably provided a better bang for the buck.  The most redeeming part of the meal was the pleasant waitress who was helpful and friendly.  Besides that, I see no need to return to Clayton.

Firstly the reason why I return to Clayton's on many occasions is because of the convenience, beer and coffee (& not the food.)

Paul is passionate about his beer and enjoys talking to the customers.

I came here for the 1st time today for lunch after reading Yelp reviews.  I'm very pleased with my meal!

I tried the Spanish Latte which many of you recommended, and thank you very much for this recommendation!  I highly recommend it if you're looking for a sweet coffee drink, otherwise if you normally don't put any sugar in your coffee, I'd definitely avoid the Spanish Latte since it'll be too sweet for you.

Also tried the original burger with all the toppings.  Very large in size and the juicy.  The bread was very soft too and overall a very good burger.  2 thumbs up!

One of the soups of the day was a thick tomato soup w/ croutons and cheese on top - they call it gouda & roasted red pepper soup.  Excellent soup!

We also checked-in with the Yelp app here, and got the 50% BBQ chicken pizza.  This pizza was so so.  Tasted like it had a little tobascco sauce with ranch dressing and bbq on the chicken.  Nothing special and I wouldn't recommend ordering it.

Looks like the beer selection is pretty good too, so I can't wait to try the beers next time I'm here.

Btw, service is pretty good and the interior is very spacious.  Free Wi-Fi here too.

Came here for the Spanish Latte and stayed for the burger special.

I came here for the first time with a friend a couple weeks back since it's a fairly new cafe near my neighborhood (I'm from Glendora). People have said that the coffee here is on par with Klatch and Classic, so I decided to give it a try.

    The ambiance:
It was large and really empty when we got there. At most, there were maybe 10 people there (besides us) at the peak traffic time. It was quiet and conducive to studying.

    The coffee:
Well, I ordered a Spanish Latte, and it was yummy (and HUGE?!?!). The drink did lack a lot of crema and body, but it tasted pretty good. It was a very large drink that actually held me over for a good hour while I was reading for some classes.

    The food:
The waitress also informed us of the lunch specials--that day it was 2-for-1 burgers for around $8. We got that since we were both a bit hungry, but not starving. They weren't amazing, but for being $4 burgers (with fries), it was mighty satisfying.

    The service:
    No complaints, which means good!

I'm no longer living in the area (I'm a Chicago dude for the next 4.5 years or so), but I'd come back when I'm in the Glendora area visiting family. Perhaps I'll try to get through their lunch specials.

Fellow Yelpers, I am SO disappointed in the reviews at this place! I trusted you to lead me to an amazing local joint with some kick-ass burgers. I was let down and now I am sad about it.

It was a glorious day and I was having a mad craving for a juicy delicious burger, Yelp led me to a local spot that I hadn't heard of before - Clayton Brewing Co. It is hidden from most street views, but I was eager to try and had high expectations.

My husband and I started off with the Lobster Bisque, which was a soup of the day and more expensive. I am a sucker for Lobster Bisque and I am also quite the perfectionist when it comes to a good one - which this one was not. The flavor was delicious, but there were no chunks of lobster, rather a gritty texture of lobster meat that had not been properly pureed (which is a traditional way of making lobster bisque). In addition, the soup was separating, which made it appear almost greasy. All and all, it was a great tasting dish even if it did not look appealing.

Next up we ordered Garlic Fries (since it was free with our Yelp Check-In) and their take on Mac & Cheese. The Garlic Fries were gross, just plain gross. Common frozen french fries topped with a pile of barely cooked minced garlic, a spoonful of Parmesan cheese, and poorly chopped parsley. It was a sad attempt as a classy dish. We picked at it and couldn't do it...
The Mac & Cheese was disgusting. It was WAY overcooked and came out completely dry. We told our waitress that the dish was dry and not edible, to which she apologized for. No harm, no foul....or so we thought.

Finally, our burgers! I got an American with bacon and mushrooms added on and my husband got Mushroom & Swiss. The burgers were huge and I was expecting greatness, especially with the delicious bun that I nibbled on before actually taking my first bite. I was wrong. My burger was as dry as the dessert in Egypt. It was horrible. HORRIBLE. My husband's burger was the same - absolutely overcooked and cardboard-esque. I stopped eating mine after 3 bites and again told the waitress that it was not up to par, at which point she offered to refill my soda. The burger lacked any sort of flavor and had absolutely NO juices flowing from it as I had envisioned. The only good thing about it was the size, but it was wasted on a sub-par performance!

The final insult came with the bill itself. Our total was $51 and in order to compensate for the inedible Mac & Cheese, they took off 15%.... of the Mac & Cheese. You read that correctly. They didn't remove the item from the bill. They didn't give me 15% off my bill. They had the gall to admit the Mac & Cheese was not at all good and give me 15% off of the item itself... even though we didn't eat it. You know how much that saved me? A whopping .63. WTF. I am never one to complain about an item unless it is incredibly bad and in this case, I did expect to have the item taken off the bill. Honestly though, even if the item wasn't taken off the bill, admitting that it was a mistake and offering me .63 to console me is purely an insult.

Other gripes - the concept is confusing. Coffee House, Brewery, or Restaurant? It is a mix of all 3, yet I don't believe they brew anything of their own. Lame. The interior design is just as confusing in concept, although it does have a clean overall appearance.

I will never, ever, return to this place and have no intention of letting any of my friends visit here either. In fact, this is one place I cannot imagine will stay in business too long if they don't get their shit together PRONTO.

Head elsewhere, spend your money on awesome food. At this rate, my cash would have been better spent at Denny's across the street (and I LOATHE Denny's).

Salmon tacos. I can't get over how great these were and how I'll never be able to duplicate them -- so I'm forever destined to return to Clayton to yet again see if I can figure out how they manage to have nice chunks of salmon, and a slightly spicy but not overpowering sauce that is a perfect compliment to boring salmon.

The interior of this place is just as fabulous as the food I've tried. It's pleasantly inviting with beautiful dark accents in a warm dusty yellow-orange room. Plenty of space so that you aren't listening in on the next table over and a bit of dessert choices to go with the nice coffees. This is another place that's worth a look, taste, meal, and visit.

This place is well...interesting to say the least. Me and my girlfriend saw the wonderful reviews on Yelp and decided to try this place out. However, we will probably never be eating here ever again.

    Pros:
    Friendly service
    Variety of menu options

    Cons:
-When walking in, not sure if its mainly a coffee shop or a restaurant?

-When trying to have a nice evening, you hear the chef talking loudly that the food at the counter is ready. I'm sorry but when i go somewhere to have a nice meal I don't want to be directly looking into the kitchen.

-Many of you commented on the wonderful Garlic Parmesan fries, so we gave them a try. If you like a half a cup of minced garlic dumped on stale disgusting fries and a pinch of parmesan then these are the perfect fries for you.

-My girlfriend ordered the grilled chicken Caesar salad, only to find out that the chicken was not even cooked fresh but rather frozen chicken strips. Some of the chicken pieces were even gray looking.

-I ordered the Lobster bisque, which was the soup of the day, that the waitress raved about.  The interesting thing was that you got charged extra for the soup of the day because it was lobster bisque? hmm not to mention that it was the saltiest soup I have ever eaten.

-I also ordered the Smoked Gouda Club. I was picturing a decadent panini and that is quite the opposite from what i received. The Turkey breast and smoked ham was nothing more than packaged deli meat folded over. The lettuce was also bruised and black looking. GROSS ! and they even forgot to put the smoked gouda cheese in the panini.

    - We waited for our check for several minutes because the waitress was also the owner/operator/barista. We were also not sure if we were supposed to go to the counter to pay for our meal.

One last interesting thing... The name is Clayton Brewing company but typically a brewing company brews their own beer, however i did not see any of their own signature beers on the beer menu.
