Review Source:I have mixed feeling about Club Broadway.
My boyfriend was the DJ here for a while, which brought me to the club. The club is HUGE. Seriously large. There is a downstairs area that hosts rock concerts mostly and I believe some comedy shows. Then the upstairs is where the live DJ is. Usually dance music, sometimes they have local hip hop artist concerts. They have a MECHANICAL BULL and tables set up for beer pong. Pretty awesome!
So I say I have mixed feelings because:
On the PRO side, this club is humongous and so much potential. The mechanical bull is friggin awesome and the drinks are very fairly priced.
On the CON side, people don't really go to Broadway. There is this huge, spacious venue that is rarely full. I am not sure why this is. I have speculated that it is because when Broadway was open about 10 years or so ago, it developed a bad reputation for harboring a rough crowd. It closed for a long time and that was a long time ago, and the club is different now. It would be a very fun place to go if more people came and danced.
All in all though, I think it's a cool place to go for a night out.
First of all, Charles D. is reviewing himself and he is the only one who was laughing at his show on the 21st. He was gross, foul and worst of all-NOT Funny! His show dragged on and on. Very sexual and racist, but like I said, not funny.
On the other hand, Telemus' show afterward was really good. We could not figure out how he did his tricks or illusions and he has a nice report with his assistants and the audience.
Our waitress was friendly and helpful. I would go again, but would arrive late so as to miss the comedian.
