The Irishmen

I am SO disappointed with this place. The decor and atmosphere are great, the drinks delicious (I am a fan of Magners Irish Cider, which they have on tap), the food good, and the service HORRIBLE.
The wait staff are rude and snotty, and do not laugh to loudly, or you will be told to be quiet. I am of Irish decent, and we are loud, jolly, and like to drink. I have been to pubs in Ireland and so speak from personal experience that the Irishman was not reminiscent of the Irish spirit. Don't be fooled by appearances.

Good place with a easy going atmosphere.

My bf and I got the Irishmen burger, and the fries are decent, but nothing great. For us, the burger was average and the bun was too big. My friend got the Roast Beef Dip, and the beef was pretty dry.

The beer is around $4.50 - 6 dollars and the average meal is around 10-20 bucks, which is a little spendy for the average food.

Overall, good atmosphere and average food.

No stars for breakfast (more below).  No stars for service ...40 minutes for a simple order in a mostly empty restaurant.  One star for the lively Irish music and decor.

I had the Irish breakfast.  My over medium eggs were solid, the Irish bacon was a modest slice of ham, link sausage was okay, tomato and mushrooms, fine, sourdough toast thin dry and uninspired.  Certainly not a $14 breakfast.

My wife had an Irish Scramble, in essence a dry disk of a fritata.  A slathering of salsa and or tabasco and or sour cream would have helped.  Jam for our dry toast would have been appreciated. Her potatoes were the best thing either of us got.
