Just went here for my first time last night. I have driven by it a lot thinking it was just a small little hole in the wall place. Actually it is much larger than it looks from the outside.
The atmosphere was awesome and they had a live band that was great too. I ordered the club pizza and potato skins. They were great!
What a cool place, definitely plan on coming back often.
Went for first time last night. Â Had a blast. Â Didn't eat there but had the biggest beer I've ever seen for about $8 - Shock Top on tap. Â Great crowd - very friendly. Â More my speed than downtown - average age a little older. Â Great live music (Lane 5). Wait staff very friendly. Â Bartenders worked very hard and were pretty fast considering the crowd. Â Great time. Â Will definitely be back.
Oh, and I think we counted like 11 TVs. And celebrity sighting - Kelly Brothers was there.
I was surprised by the crowd of people in there; it was mixed with younger people and older people; Everyone in there seemed really nice and friendly. Â It was nice to finally find a entertaining bar that's not in downtown and is actually close to home. Â I enjoyed the band and the bartenders were awesome. Overall this bar is great place to come relax and have a drink!!
Review Source:I don't make it out here often but when I do it feels like the place you should be at to watch a game. With its abundance of TVs, and no walls to block your 360° view, there isn't a bad seat. Top it off with $7 32oz draft beers and I could only wish I was closer.  Haven't had too many food options. Tried a chicken sandwich and wings before. I wouldn't mind either again.
Review Source:Mediocre food and a surprisingly small selection of beers for a pub. The waiting staff that seems to be genuinely annoyed to wait on our table added to the experience. Plus a bar manager and owner that tolerates the female bartenders rude and abusive comments to the woman that was my date. All in all a most unpleasant experience
Review Source:The service and atmosphere score very high in my book. But the Wings...Let's just say the best thing on the plate was the celery. My wings came out sizzling hot from (possibly the microwave) I ordered the "Dragon Slayer Wings!" Sounded kind of HOT! But,...no. The sauce was good; but not spicy or hot. I would go back again, but not for the wings.
Review Source:I live really close to this place and there seems to always be people here so my wife and I decided to give it a try. Â It's always good to have a good place with standard bar food available to eat in or as take out.
Arrived at lunch time (around 11:15) and there were just a few people. Â Seat yourself and I actually liked the atmosphere - lots of TVs, darts, the requisite "Golden Tee", etc. Â
We ordered the sliders which were marginally good - I wanted to like them but just really dry. Â I had to chug like 2 glasses of diet coke to keep them from stopping in my esophagus. Â Also ordered the bleu cheese and buffalo fries - sounded good but they seemed to have dipped the fries completely in buffalo sauce after frying them. Â This is not as good as it sounds, it just made for soggy buffalo fries. Â Lastly, got some wings and were really disappointed in these. Â The server convinced us to get them "without any sauce" but he brought us an assortment of the sauces that they offer. Â The sauces were good but the wings were burnt and so small! Not meaty at all...probably from a sickly bird, or I guess 3 sickly birds.
Anyway, overall a disappointment - maybe just caught them at a bad time. Â We'll probably try it again cause I really WANT to like their food!
A pleasant surprise... It's a sports bar, of which I typically not a fan of, but they've got a bit goin on to help separate them from your standard sports bar!
Its bigger than it looks from the outside, plenty of tables, plenty of tv's, free wifi, jukebox, live music on some nights, full bar, with quite a few higher end bourbons, tequilas, etc. We didn't eat here, but the food looks and smells really good! I think we'll be back in soon to try out a pizza!
Guinness on tap, and all their draft beer's are available in 16, or 34 ounces! That's a big mug yo!
The bartender may actually be the friendliest bartender in California, and she was genuinely friendly, not the typical bartender friendly, know what I mean?
As much as I love the clubhouse, the patrons, and its employees - the food quality has been deteriorating. I've always came here to eat here before throwing back some drinks; and now I've removed the eating element, and moved my drinking elsewhere because of that.
4 Stars for everything, but the food quality. Sorry guys.
Pretty nice looking sports bar. Â 12 or so large flat screens and good beers. Â Will be great for game time. Â Huge rectangle bar. Â But my burger kind of sucked. Â I think they precooked it and finished it when i ordered - but it wasnt busy. Â They advertise a 1/2 lb angus, i ordered it medium with bacon, and it was dry and gray. Â I'll go back for the $8 32oz guiness steins but wont be getting a burger there again (go to roxy for that).
Review Source:Do not be deceieved by the name, the food here is not "bar food," it's actually excellent, borderline gourmet in some cases. Â Margherita pizza is one of my favorite things to eat, and this place nails it. The basil and garden fresh tomatoes were perfect on top of bubbly, crispy, crust, neither soggy nor tough. Honestly, it's the best crust I've come accross in quite a while. Not sure what kind of overn they use, but the end result is delicous. Order yourself a lemonade or soda, and you'll be pleased with the extra large chilled mug-no refills needed! Â Haven't had the hard drinks here yet, but the food by itself is worth a visit, and the service was pleasant and welcoming. Â Will definitely go back.
Review Source:What a gem for Carmichael! Â The margherita pizza with fresh heirloom tomatoes and perfect crust was absolutely delicious. Â The general manager is very friendly, and his culinary background plays a great role in assuring customers that the food does not play 2nd fiddle to the drinks. Â Clubhouse definitely doesn't serve typical "bar food", and is very much worth the trip to Fair Oaks from downtown!
Review Source:Carmichael needed this real bad. Â This place is great. Â Chef rocks, bartenders actually know how to make great margaritas,
brand new interior, lots of TV's, spacious, great music acts, Â
best sports bar i've been to in sac and it's right in Carmichael..
*Disclaimer: too much good stuff here, you might get in trouble with the Mrs. for staying too long.
This place is a decent blue collar kind of place- but sometimes you are just looking for that laid back casual place. A blend of people, and pretty good, reasonably priced bar food. Burgers, salads, calamari, etc. Full menu until 10pm, and appetizers until 11pm. Happy Hour deals :)
Not as ghetto as some "sports bars"
This is seriously my home away from home. There is so much to say about this place, since I've seen it really blossom since it opened last year. It is related to another bar/grille near Sunrise. They have beer pong, darts, jukebox, great service, amazing staff, a clean location, easy parking, good restrooms that have never smelled, occasionally there is live music and promotional events that really appeal to the customers.
Review Source:If you are in the mood for a laid back sports bar meets neighborhood bar, this is your best bet, especially for the Carmichael area. There isn't much else around and a bar that serves tall pints in awesome steins can easily become anyone's friend :-)
This is a sports bar after all and there are flat screen TVs galore so if there is a game you want to watch this place has plenty of tables, a full bar and lots of channels I was told.
There are also A LOT of off nights where you may stroll in here and there will be 4 other people total, two of which are completely waster cougars trying to play dice the game at the bar but obviously having way too much trouble adding ha ha
Clubhouse, is definitely not club like at all. But it is easy, no stress, no hassle with a full bar with draft beers at $4.50 and mixed drinks are too bad either. Just watch out for some not great liquor recommendations from the the bar tenders here!
If there was a 0 star option, I would mark 0 for this place. The waitress was incredibly rude She may have been the owner but I dont know for sure. When we first got there and she asked for our I.D for beer I told her I was not 21 that it was just my boyfriend buying the beer. She said "great I still need to see your I.D" my boyfriend replied "oh of course, I am plenty old enough though" JOKING with her as he was reaching for her wallet, she then said "thats great until your gumming your apple  sauce I need to see it"....then all night she barely even checked on our table, the food was mediocre and when she did check on us she was snippy. This is the topping on it all though, when we went to pay my boyfriend handed over his card. Ten minutes later she comes back and says "oh can I see your I.D. again incase this is a stolen card"....UHM excuse me? are you saying we look like people that would steal? I couldnt believe it. Anyway I will never go back here again
Review Source:Food rocks, several flat screens, NFL package, cool vibe, friendly staff. Â My hockey team eats here every Sunday night and seriously everyone loves whatever comes out of the kitchen. Â Wings are the meatiest I've ever eaten and are consistently properly cooked.
7/1/13 update: Food is still friggin awesome! I swear anything I eat there is just great! Â No way you'd expect that type of food/ flavor from a sports bar but Chef Paul rocks it!
I have been driving by  the clubhouse  since they open.. but never been in there until tonite.. and I am so glad that I did.  upon walking in it is a quieter bar & grill.  It has a feel that it is meant for 30's & 40's group.  our Wait person Jennifer was a hoot.  loved her!!!  Great selections of beer and not bad prices.  The Food.. Very Very good.  I got a steak sandwich  which was tasty  and a side salad which was good my dining partner had there Tri Tip sandwich  which was good.
they also have a Ruben on the menu... Â and hot pastrami.....
Great Place.. Â We will be going back
I went back to give it one last chance...again, disappointment. I ordered a BBQ BACON cheese burger and when it came out, it had 1 slice of bacon that was cut in half on it. It was lunch hour and me and my two buddies were among another 3 people in the place so it isn't like they were too busy and just forgot the bacon....I don't get it. Also, the burger was well done and tough...sorry Clubhouse...but you aren't winning over many hearts...
