Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant

Have you ever catered from here? Well we did...and paying $129 for a cheese tray and to have (we counted) 30 pieces of cheese and two strawberries...really? And the cheese was not even fresh.

We enjoy the food (when dining in), but you go for the selection of wines.

We felt ripped off. I would never cater from there again.

My suggestion is to dine in only.

It's confusing when you first walk in, it's like a gift store and there Is no hostess to greet you at the door. The seafood cannelloni is stuffed with nothing but scallops, I asked to take the scallops out but there Pre made which means that it's not made fresh to order. It was not as good even though it was the chefs recommendation, disappointed. This was not what I thought it would be. The passion fruit sangria was really nice, the server never refilled our water glasses the whole 2 hours we were here.

First and foremost I'm not a wine connoiseur by any means. People are always talking about the wine's body, finish, aroma, color, blah blah blah. With me just make sure its chilled and not packed with headache causing sulfites and I'm straight. I went here for the food anyway.
Maybe I ordered the wrong thing but the food was nothing special. I ordered a seared tuna dish that was tough and dry.  Not to mention the plating of the food is attrocious.A lot of people love this place and are regulars but that'll never be me. Excellent waiter service though.
