    Don't order the nacho's.  there was practically no meat, cheese or any other topping for the matter!  The chowder taste was great if you like Luke warm soup!     The server was running around and was very personable the only bright part of the experience!

    County Cork is owned by a fantastic couple that I just adore! They both work in the pub daily and perform ALL tasks. That immediately gets my business and respect. The wife is a native of County Cork, the husband an American. The pub has a very American feel to it but with hints of Irish about - Guinness on tap and irish food on the menu. The pub itself is a little challenging to get to due to signage laws in the town, however it is nicely tucked away in the marina where you can enjoy bay views and beautiful marine vessels.

    The pub offers the biggest steal you can imagine! If you come in Monday- Thursday you get a multi-course meal for the price of one entrée. If my memory serves me correctly it's any menu item, a soup or salad and dessert for $10. Let's say $15 to be safe but it's totally $10. With that said - hello, steal!!! So the food must be terrible right?! Actually...no.

    Irish nachos are yum! Nice portion size in a large, with not too many ingredients to make the chips all soggy and undesirable. The house salad is the best I've ever had in a pub. It's mixed mesclun greens with onion, tomato and cukes - not some crappy iceberg lettuce but delicious mixed greens with actual nutrients in them. Being that Irish cuisine tends to be savory, I opted for the pork chops. They were served over a homemade bacon, carrot and tomato hash with some apple essence (to replace the traditional apple sauce) and came with one or two additional sides - I'm having trouble recalling. Regardless, it was tasty! I wasn't a fan of the hash per se but I also didn't dislike it. I liked their approach with the apple accent instead of actual apple sauce though.

    The drinks are priced very fair and my staple (Bombay Blue Sapphire, Tonic and two limes) was made very stiff! This could be as a result of returned patronage but I'm more inclined to think our delightful hosts are just that hospitable.
    All and all this is a typical pub - booze and decent food. It's nothing to praise from the rooftops or anything to bash. It's a nice, hidden bar with some great people working there and a kick ass location. Could they use some décor? Probably, but as long as they leave the bar alone - it is beautiful.

    If you're by the water, avoid that grimy beach nearby and come here instead.

    Visited pub 6/10/12 for the first time for a mid afternoon lunch. Not impressed. The bar is nice as advertised but small. It was a nice sunny day so I ate on the outside terrace which is sand with picnic tables and umbrellas. Food was good but service was poor. I had a blue cheese burger that was done to my liking and very flavorful. Fries were good but there wasn't enough of them. Waited at least 15 minutes for a draft beer. Meanwhile, other people that arrived later were served drinks. Waiter said he forgot the order. He came back later and said there was a problem with the draft beer keg, the bar tender didn't report to work today, and the chef's helper was late - too much info. I then ordered a different draft and my burger. After a further wait I finally got up and went to the bar to check on my beer. Burger came shortly after. Waiter was very apologetic but made no attempt to make amends. Overheard a waitress tell two patrons that ordered domestic bottled beer that she'd have to check if the beer was cold. The pub is located on a marina. It's scenic, but I wouldn't say its a" breath-taking view.". The pub didn't make me feel as though I was "on the Emerald Isle itself" I was anticipating a relaxing lunch by the bay, but the poor service killed that. Difinitely will not return

    I am reluctant to write this review, as it seems the County Cork is still "working out the kinks". Please keep this in mind while reading.
    We arrived at the beautiful seaside pub at about 6:00 PM. It was packed. Strait up line-out-the-door. The problem was no one in that line knew what to do... there was no hostess; the waitstaff was too busy to acknowledge the people waiting to sit.
    Eventually, we just sat ourselves at a dirty table. After that, it took about ten minutes of us waving our arms in the air, trying to get a servers attention before we were acknowledged. Finally, a waitress came over. It was a very awkward introduction, but we were just hungry and didn't really care. She dropped the menus and disappeared. After about two minutes we knew what we wanted and we kept trying, desperately, to get her attention. She glanced over, but was clearly too overwhelmed to get to the table. We decided to just grab one of the other servers- and thank god we did.
    Dan was like an angel in a chaotic mess of a dining experience. He had no problem coming over, talking to us about the menu, and generally staying cool and composed. If it wasn't for his outstanding service, this would have been a 2-star review.
    I hope to revisit the County Cork and have a different experience. Maybe by then they will be a bit more organized.
