Court St Pizza

While bobbing in the lake one day, my wife and I met Lisa Pizza and her nice family. Lisa and her husband are from Brockton MA: where my Dad grew up, and an area that has some of the best pizza joints in the USA.  [And I have lived in Chicago.]

Lisa strongly recommended this place to my wife and I. It is quite simply the best pizza in the Roanoke, SML, Bedford area. We don't even fool around with toppings; we usually get the XL with extra cheese. It's quality and flavor are remarkable .. and they are consistent. I've never been even slightly disappointed with my purchases.

It's one of the best pies I've ever had in my 40+ years of pizza eating. And totally the best in this rural area of VA.  

The hours are a little weird - they close early on Sundays - and they are NOT on Court Street, but you need to check this place out.

Great selection, family run restaurant. Homemade everything. Love the Greek calzone.

One of the better options for pizza in Bedford. That said, it can be expensive, for what it is. Had the tuna once, and it was horrible. The calzones are very delicious, but oddly enough they won't add ricotta cheese even on request. They do have some fresh baked goods that I've always been pleased with. Service can be hit or miss depending on the day/time.
