Cowboy's Downtown

Despite having a pretty terrible experience not too long ago my friend sucked it up and took me to Cowboys on a Saturday night.  It was super cold out, she thought this might be the reason for the unusually small crowd.  The multiple levels was perfect for a people watcher (borderline creep, I know) like me.  It was fun watching the people dance down below.  Not everyone was Sissy and Bud status so that was encouraging should I ever get up the nerve to dance.  
The bartender on the 3rd floor had a difficult time remembering things, gave me a Long Island instead of the Long Beach that I ordered but he made up for it when my shot of Fireball was free.  My friends experienced a bit of the same but it was a minor annoyance, nothing you can't shake off.  
I don't smoke anymore but my friends do and the smoke deck is right outside the bowling/karaoke area.  If you sit at the bar you get a good bit of heat from inside.  People were friendly, not sleezy at all.  Being new to Colorado it was nice to find a place that wasn't so, so different from home.  A bit far to be my new "Cheers" but I'll be back, I'm sure of it.

This is my first time going to Cowboys. I have always been a little apprehensive about going, because i'm just not the biggest fan of country music. The atmosphere was so fun! People were always on the dance floor, whether it be with a partner or just doing a line dance, I even got out there and danced! Even though I had no idea what I was doing, everyone was really friendly and understanding. I was so impressed i am going to take the classes they offer on Sundays! Super fun place!

For my 1st time in Colorado, what's not to like about this place on a Friday night??

1st Floor:
*Huge Dance floor
*Gentlemen asking if I'd like to dance, not just humping my back without notice.
*Bar!!

2nd Floor:
*Pool tables
*Bars!!
*Friday Nights $10 bottomless mini pitchers of beer on tap from 9pm-12am. Tip: Don't be wasteful and keep your pitcher in-site and reuse it when you refill. ("Christmas-Tree-Josh" stole 1 of mine. Bad behavior.)
*Smoking Patio (I don't smoke, but it wasn't too bad hanging out there)

3rd Floor
I think there's a bar, but by the time I made it up there I didn't need one.
*Karaoke!!
*Smoking Patio with heating lamps
*Bowling (Looked like fun!)

There's a lot to do, so if you find yourself not having fun, you're not trying!!
