I can remember when the gravy at Cracker Barrel had more flavor and the biscuits were bigger. Â It seems that a lot of dining establishments have downscaled the quality and quantity of their offerings. Â Cracker Barrel isn't alone in their efforts to squeeze more dollars off the plate.
This location is as good as any at that particular endeavor. Â However, the service here is generally good and getting a table isn't an exercise in biblical patience, even on a Sunday, after church, in small town Indiana.
The food is still simple and comforting and there are daily specials that rotate depending on the day of the week. Â And breakfast is still served all day. Â Can't hate that.
