Not bad.
Full spectrum of fare offered from soul food to mexican to salad bar to steak/ham/roast carved on demand. Â Food ranged from delicious to decent. Â Most food was warm. Rolls were piping hot and delicious. Â
For a family of four, paid about $45 at dinner time. Â Â
We'd probably go again, but I think it would be a better value at lunch time, where the same meal would likely cost $35. Â Oh, and service was good . . . no drunken waitstaff observed.
I love our little cordoned off segment of the world. Â
I like my 100+ year old farmhouse. Â
I like the fact that we can call the five plus acres out back ours.
I love the little cemetery down the road with the wooden Jesus statue standing guard.
I do not love the fact that the dining options here suck monkey balls.
Our waitress brought with her the strong odor of day old alcohol and a nervous twitch. Â She did NOT bring water or flatware. Â I had to snag the flatware from an empty table.
This is buffet style dining at it's worst.
