Cracker Barrel Store

Don't ya just love them Cracker Barrels? All of us from the south sure do!
The first thing to greet us are the long rows of Rocking chairs...then you walk in to their country store gift shop....if you make it through there unscathed, you'll reach the restaurant. This particular visit I had the Fried chicken strips on a big salad with a diet coke. My friend ordered the Chicken tenders with green beans and mashed potato's, my husband had the salad as well. We loved it as usual. They bring you the complimentary cornbread while you can play the tiny golf tee game at the table. This is also the one restaurant that still serves real Cream sodas in a bottle.YUM. So get off the interstate and slow your pace for some good home cooking. You'll be glad you did.
