Always good service, great margaritas, reliably good food and salsa bar. If you can accept that this is a great little Mex place and not really gourmet cuisine, then you will be pleased. Fajitas and grilled entrees are the best bet. I'm a regular and appreciate a good meal and drinks at reasonable prices.
Review Source:Came here after reading about the salsa bar. Â There are probably ~20 different salsas but I ended up only like 1-2. Â The menu has a WIDE selection of entrees (almost making it impossible to decide on one). Â I ended up getting chicken enchiladas which were not that great. Â My friend got some kind of sandwich & a fish taco. Â She said the fish taco was good but the sandwich was not. Â Service was slow even though the restaurant wasn't busy.
Review Source:Been here for at least 15 to 20 lunches or dinners, and intend to return many more times.
Alejandro's boasts the only fresh salsa bar in the area. Â It WILL have a selection that fits your taste and heat tolerance. Â The Salsa Mexicana (with large chunks of avocado) is a favorite.
The entrees range from "so-so" to great. Â The steak fajitas are surprisingly tough, but the chicken fajitas are good. Â The chicken mole is nothing special, but several taco dishes are outstanding. Â (Spicy steak with extra cilantro and lime, please!) Â The flavorful and tender carnitas stands out, too.
Alejandro's loses a star for their surprisingly weak, sweet, and disappointing margaritas. Â (Stick to the draft beer, as there's usually something on special.)
Despite that, Alejandro's is (by FAR) your best Mexican option in the region.
