The dinner is not worth the price than Bull and Bones Brewhaus & Grill and  EI Rodeo locating at Blacksburg Square. I ordered a Atlantic Simon ( it looked like farm raised not wild caught as per my seeing at Kroger)  with price of more than $19,00 without any sides in the plate. The same meal at Bull and Bone Brewhaus and Grill is $15 with several sides of a big potato and bread.
In a word, it's not worth of dinner eating as far as I know.
At small town of Blacksburg, American food of Bull and Bone Brewhaus and Mexican food of  EI Rodeo is the best places to go!

It's hard to write a review for this place. It is either hit or miss. Sometimes, it's great to sit in the booths at the wine bar and drink wine and chat. Their appetizers have always been amazing, but there is just always something "off" about the entrees. What? I'm not sure. They just seem like they could be better. Also, they used to have an awesome wine expert (Courtney) and she left...ever since she quit it just isn't the same.
Review Source:This was my third time trying 622 north. I'm a local, so I keep hoping the potential of this place will happen, but each time, there are little things that let me know the potential for excellence just never gets reached. Loved my Founder's stout, but then they were out of the other beer we ordered. This has happened everytime we've gone. My short ribs were good, but not falling apart good. Â the waiter talked up the new presentation, only they forgot to put the sweat potato lahtki on there, the new presentation, and the manager brought it out on a plate, it was charred with black and the potato was undercooked with crunch to it. Too much stuff in the risotto to even see the risotto and to top it off, the homemade peach/rasp. Pie slice was $8! We're not in NYC and this restaurant doesn't have it together enough to slam a bill with that price tag at the end. Final note, waiter left us with dirty plates to roll his silverware for 15 minutes...we watched him roll everyone while he ignored us and this was before the $8 pie!! So...I think three strikes you're out unless consistency in food and service step up!! While potential is there attention to the fine details is not.
