I went back to Blacksburg for the first time in a while, so I wanted to try this new Irish themed bar they opened.  We were just drinking, so I don't know about the food.  The decor and feel of the place was definitely different than any of the other bars in town, in a good way (not that I have any problems with any of the other bars, but variety is good though).  The bar is really small, and it's mostly table seating, so it's more of a sit down and chill kind of place, rather than a crowded, loud, walk around kind of place.

I ordered the Irish beer sampler, and was really disappointed by what I got - it came with Guinness, Harp, Smithwicks, and one that I'd never heard of.  Really?  3 of those beers I could get at every other bar in town.  When I order a sampler I'm expecting to try new beers, or at least something that isn't commonly available.

We look forward to T'Flynns when in Blacksburg. It's definitely a break from the other college 'food' spots.  The Happy Hour is fantastic (2-6pm and very inexpensive) and Sunday Brunch is quite good.
