Crow Entertainment came highly recommended by our wedding venue, Herrington on the Bay. They are very popular and experienced DJs in the area. Our specific DJ was Deilan for our wedding on June 29, 2013.
Deilan was young, energetic, professional, classy, readily available, and very nice.
We would definitely recommend Crow Entertainment for your wedding or special event.
Back when I worked in catering, Brian Crow was a new DJ on the scene, but a favorite of the catering company I worked for. Â Despite being new, his skills were top notch. Â The dance floor was always packed, and he flawlessly moved from one part of the wedding to another. Â In addition, he was the perfect MC for wedding receptions. Â As a caterer, this was a godsend.
So, when I got married ten years later (having long ago left the catering business), I knew that I would have to look up Brian again. Â Crow Entertainment did a fabulous job for our wedding. Â I encouraged him to take requests from our guests and gave him a list of songs my wife and I liked, and he took it from there. Â Despite most of my dancing-friendly guests not showing up, the dance floor remained as packed as I remembered ten years ago.
Brian was professional to work with, and easily juggled dealing with local me and my then-fiancee who lived 800 miles away. Â Cheers to Brian and crew for the great job they did.
We contacted Crow Entertainment for my daughter's wedding on May 20th at Running Hare Vineyard. Â CJ worked with us from the beginning and was always prompt in responding. Â We had an in-person meeting to finalize details and I didn't know until the actual reception that CJ was juggling several "secret" requests. Â A few of the family members set up surprises for the reception and CJ handled the requests without spilling any of the secrets. Â
On the day of the wedding CJ provided microphones for the officiant and speaker at the outdoor ceremony. Â Between the wind and changing voices it was no easy feat to oversee the sound, but CJ made it look effortless.
CJ got us through all the details of toast and announcements and special dances, Â plus a surprise skit by the groom's father. Â Then he kept people dancing until the last minute. Â We were thrilled with the music he played and the way he kept the party going. Â We had a Sunday night wedding and worried people wouldn't stay long...but they did and they danced!
I can't give CJ and Crow entertainment enough praise for how well they did in making the wedding a success. Â I've planned weddings before and never felt the music was a wonderful part of the night...but that's simply because I hadn't found the right DJ!
We just had our wedding last Sunday at Herrington on the Bay in Rose Haven, Maryland. CJ was our dj and far exceeded our expectations. From start to finish , CJ was extremely helpful and very professional. He helped us in choosing the perfect songs for our ceremony to announcing us as husband and wife during the reception. I will definitely recommend Crow Entertainment to anyone for any event. Thanks for making our wedding wonderful!!!
Review Source:We used Crow Entertainment for our June 2009 wedding and they were great. Â We worked with both Brian and CJ (CJ was at the wedding) and everything went smoothly. Â They respond super quick to questions and CJ helped on more than one occasion with music selections. Â
The day of was great, there were a few timing issues but nothing that would keep me from suggesting them to friends/family. Â They did both our ceremony and reception music - everything was great and I would reccomend them.
Crow entertainment was absolutely exceptional!! I worked with Brian Crow himself and he was 100% professional and courteous. Â I left most of the musical choices up to him and I am STILL hearing about how fun my wedding was; 2 months later. Â The wedding wouldn't have been early as fun or amazing without the help of Brian and his associate Donald. Â I highly recommend Crow entertainment; they don't play the tacky Chicken Dance, Limbo or Electric Slide (unless specifically asked, of course); instead they play a mix of music that will get you and your guests on the dance floor! Â Even my 87 year old grandparents were dancing. Â
On a more technical note, Brian works wonder with mixing and manipulating music. I wanted to walk down the aisle to a specific song (my alma matter's fight song) the first part of the song has a slow tempo and the second part of the song has a much faster tempo. I asked Brian if he could slow down the first part of the song enough that I could walk down the aisle and also cut the song so that when the ceremony was over the faster tempo part of the song would play as the bridal party walked out. Â He did it with NO problem and it was flawless. Â
If you want an amazing party, call Crow. They do everything from gobo lights (we had a big "R" lit up on the dance floor from an overhead gobo light with essentially a stencil in it with our last initial) to making CD party favors and of course music.
It was absolutely money well spent.
