We really liked this place! Great beer and wine, and I love the concept of having both in one place- makes it easier for people to agree!

We've been here a few times, both late night and early evening, and it's always packed (in a good way. There's nothing creepier than a totally empty bar.)

Last time we were there we had a beer flight each, which was great for us to try a bunch of different local beers. We've also had wine which was good as well. The crowd is cool and it has a great vibe!

Don't come here for food. Good beer, Crappy $14 dollar cheese plate. Ridiculously small portions.

Big fan.  The beer selection is solid and the food is tasty.  I've been frequenting since the old days of the Collective.  However, I am tremendously more happy stopping in now...total upgrade!  Of, course the concept and practice is completely different, but I am so happy the change has been made.  The only current downside is that my drinking partner is pregnant, but I can still manage.  Oh, and everyone that I have referred has come backed to thank me for pointing them in the direction of the Crush & Brew.

I wanted to visit a winery after work but couldn't find one open. On a suggestion, I tried Crush and Brew, which has local wines and beers. Being allergic to gluten, I couldn't try any of the beers but I did do a wine taste tasting. Caitlin was my bar-tender and picked some wines for me based on my taste preferences. She did a good job as I really enjoyed all the wines. I also got one of the salads, which was tasty. I found out through conversation that Caitlin was also allergic to gluten and dairy, so she recommended some other restaurants to try in the area. I really appreciated her going above and beyond her duties and helping me with that. The wines were great, the food was great and the service was great. My only small critique would be that since it is open seating, put a sign near the door. Nearly everyone who came in, including myself, stood there until they were told just to sit anywhere. Otherwise, I enjoyed this place and will be back next time I'm in town.

This is the perfect spot.  I come here often - happy hour, work events or hanging out with friends.  I love the local focus on craft beer and estate wine.  I love, love, love Chef Daragh's menu.

Nice little place in Old Town Temecula. Atmosphere is great with a beer tasting and wine tasting room on each side. They offer beers and wines from local breweries and wineries. They do have food, but if you're really hungry, I would recommend going elsewhere, as their portions aren't that big. However, the food I had here was good, just didn't fill me up! If you're in the area, give it try!

Love this place. Perfect atmosphere not only on the weekends, but also to get a glass of wine in the afternoon. Great selection of both beer and wine. The thing that tops it off though is the service, the crush and brew staff are always personable and nice, specifically Caitlin; she is amazing and gives the best recommendations. One of the best spots in Old Town Temecula!

First visit since their remodel and I must say that I am impressed.  I love the two worlds of wine and beer combining.  Although they are still kinda of separate they are together under one roof with an entryway linking them together.  You can sit on the beer side which is like a brewery tasting room or on the wine side with the nice circular tasting bar.  You can get wine or beer on either side so just pick what side you prefer or whatever has room.  The service is nice and very helpful and have knowledge of their products.  The wine is all from local wineries, mostly the small ones that do not have their own tasting room.  Of course the wine is all delicious.  The beer selection is also great with many local beers.  They also had food options.

This is the best nightspot in Temecula. Perfectly captures the craft brew movement and small winery culture that is part of this region of the country. If you want to try something new in a comfortable atmosphere and you enjoy people watching, this place is worth it.

I recommend the Hawk Watch wines (when they have them) as I think they're making some of the areas best product.

Their beer selection is pretty good, and pretty good dark beers. I haven't had wine there yet. The food is really overpriced for what it is. They should use a little bit better ingredients for the prices they're charging. For example, our bread plate had what tastes like store bought sliced bread on it. If they can't bake their own, they should at least buy fresh french loaves to slice up with the tapenade, balsamic, and oil. The same bread also appears on the cheese plate.

    (Drinks review only)

Cool bar in Downtown Temecula.  15-20 premium beers on tap (Lost Abbey, Port, Alesmith, Iron Fist).  Priced at $7-$9 depending on the ABV.

The inside also has a modern feel to it as well.

We were there a couple of weekends ago. Our experience was marked by the unpleasant fact that our server could not assist us in the least. That is, a platter with Cheese and Sausages. We were told that they could only offer us the Block and Barrel ($26) which had meats but not cheese for 4  people even though it was just 2 of us and add the cheese board ($16) bringing the total to $44 and we hadn't even ordered wine yet!

We settled for the Sausage platter and ordered several sides of soft cheeses for $3 each dollop!  I suggested that we bathe them in olive oil and was told, rather severely too, that the Chef did not like people to tinker with his presentations and was told it could not be done. I expressed my surprised and ordered the oil nonetheless. To my amazement, we were told we would be charged for the oil.

Despite the bad start, we ordered our drinks. As part of our order we were given bread that resembled wonder bread. That is, no texture, crunch or body--awful. The manager came over to apologize for his inability to satisfy our requests and made it cleat the Chef was in charge. I told him, rather forcefully, that the only one in charge of a customer's palate and wallet was the customer and that they should strive to be more accommodating--the Chef's predilections notwithstanding.

Bottom line: Management should strive to please and modify their philosophy of "We cater to the Chef" to "We cater to our customers."  Kudos to the manager who tried to help us and was patient in hearing our concerns.

P.S. Come up with a Cheese and Sausage platter for those who might like both with their wine.

OK this place has amazing beers, a cute ambience, live music and knowledgable bartenders.  The issue you ask?  Outrageous prices.  $12.00 for a Belgium?  Seriously.  I ordered a beer here that costs me $7.00 at Encinitas Ale House and it was $12.00 here.  My friends paid $9.00 each for a Pale Ale.

I just can't support a place with these prices no matter how good it is.  Or should I say my wallet can't support a place like this.

Third time here. I got the pesto flatbread and it was terrific. The wine flight is a great way to sample Temecula's selection without breaking the bank. The service has always been very friendly and pretty quick and attentive.

Awesome beer selection and excellent happy hour. We went on Sunday around 4:30 p.m. We did the tasting selection and it was only $5 for four beers (smaller tasting glasses). Very friendly staff. Next time we want to try the wines!

We stopped here for some drinks and an appetizer.  With all their local beer and wine varieties we ended up getting a flight of beer and one of wine.  We also got the cheese platter which was amazing.  I highly recommend this place for drinks and appetizers.

Great remodel and expansion of the former Wine Collective.

Very understaffed during weekends. What's the point of cutting corners to save a few bucks on wait staff when people could be ordering more often and in turn increasing your profits if you staffed appropriately?

I'm sold. Good beer selection. The flatbreads we ordered tasted fine. No comment on the wine because I don't drink it enough.  Atmosphere was cool and downtown Temecula can use all the live music it can.

The atmosphere is amazing. The craft beers is even more amazing. They are stocked with Temecula/Murrieta local craft beers and wines. Enjoy your drink while you listen to local artist.

This place was a fun stop while I was in Temecula. My friends and I enjoyed the good food, and the even better selection of local craft brews and wines. The staff were all very friendly.

Came here to catch up with some old friends. They have a decent happy hour. We mostly had wine and the selection is very good. The inside is a mix of country and metropolitan (kind of like the past and future of temecula). The only food we had was the flat bread which was very good. The facilities were very clean and overall I was very impressed by this neighborhood gem. Keep up the good work

Fun atmosphere, though its seat yourself, can kinda be hard to find somewhere to sit.  My husband and I split wine and beer tastings, super fun.  We split a tiramisu too, which was great.  I'll probably go back next time I'm in Temecula.

Great, casual, fun place. We were going to just stop in for a drink before dinner and head next door for our meal but ended up staying as the wine and service was too good to leave. We ordered a couple of the " boards" and the portions were large enough that we were full, however I would have preferred a few crackers instead of so much bread and they recently had taken the soup off the menu which would have been a great addition to our meal.  We finished off the meal with a red velvet dessert and it was amazing!  The wine portions were large and I love, love, love the tree flight! Next time we are back in Temecula this will definitely be stop.

My mom and I stopped in, just got 2 flights to chill and hang out after shopping...looked cute and we liked the wine trees for the flights.

Service was pretty slow, and they were not busy.  Kind of annoying.  But I don't have much else to report, we didn't eat...the wine was good and we ended up ordering a bottle of one of our tastings later at dinner at the hotel.

I'd try it again, hopefully the service is a little faster.  And the food looked good from what I saw on the menu.

My wife and I stopped in here for the first time last weekend. The decor and overall atmosphere is really nice. If you can get a spot near the street it's a great place to enjoy drinks and people watch.

The service was nothing stellar and very slow. Our server seemed stressed and strained to appear pleasant. Drinks were slow, food was slow and I'm sure it had something to do with the fact that every seat in the house was taken. We shared appetizers and a meal which weren't anything special. I ordered a flight of beers which arrived after much delay. Our waitress had to prepare the flight; it was cool but not cold.

For the price, the experience here was disappointing. I would certainly try dinner here again on a less crowded night but if the visit were the same it would probably be the last.

This place is awesome and if you're looking for a chill place to experience some lesser known wines and good craft beer, go to Crush and Brew without delay.

This used to be a place called the Collective, which IMO, seemed to attract the wannabe Newport Beach crowd - over 50 in short skirts, stilettos with matching plastic surgery... okay sorry, I digress.

My husband and I have been here a few times now and each time, the place has been filled with a few different parties. Recommendation, if you're on a date and you like that person, take a seat in the comfy couches.

The staff is knowledgeable about the wines and beers. Our server gave us complimentary samples of a couple of the wines we weren't sure about. They feature wines mostly from California that are not too commercial and that are very respectable selections and varietals.

One of the times we were there, the establishment featured a singer/songwriter night - kind of an open mic night for musicians to test out their songs. Not sure if that's an every week thing but I do know they have live music some nights.

We also received 10% off our bill for mentioning and checking in there on Yelp!
i hope I don't get them in trouble and I hope they don't take away the discount because I mention this, but the 10% off offer was only posted on a blackboard behind the musicians. The waitstaff honored it no problem.

Very nice place to go with a date or a group. Go tonight!

Awesome little wine bar, and pub.  The room is kinda split in two. One side is more dedicated to the wine, and the other to the beers on tap. They had over 15 micro brews on tap.
So i got a 4 beer sampler, and my girl got the 5 wine sampling...  Very nice. See pics.
We ordered a Cheese Platter to share.  It came with two kinds of bread, 3 kinds of cheese, honey, caramelized onions, apple slices, walnuts, and grapes.
    All in all, very tasty.
Would definitely come back for more.  Service was really good as well.

This place was a let down.

The space is really nice.  It has a modern feel with a great incorporation of the barrels on the walls.  The was a lot of space and a good balance of outdoor and indoor seating.  There were a few half opened wine boxes and a random construction ladder out.  Nobody was using them and they were never moved.  It was like somebody started stocking and just stopped and left for the day.  I say this because it had an unfinished feel.  It would have been a 3 minute job to move these things and give the illusion that the place fully stocked, plus we were one of 3 tables.

There was  a very good selection of wine and beer from the region.  The menu was very small, but it looked promising.

My wife ordered a chicken salad and I had the pesto chicken panini.  We also order a couple of beers.  It took a noticeable delay for them to come get our orders (we were one of 3 tables).  Then the beer was noticeably delayed.  The food was not only slow, but very slow.  The server even apologized for the delay.  Sandwiches and salads should not take 30+ minutes.   The salad was fine, veggie-wise, but the chicken looked and tasted like the precooked and sliced stuff you get from Oscar Meyer.  The sandwich was bland and mushy.  The contents were not layered; they were mixed together.  The side salad was put right on the sandwich.  The dress oozed on to the bread and made it rather messy.

The server, while slow and inattentive, were very nice.

The location is great, the atmosphere is perfect for what they are trying to accomplish.  The execution is not there.

came here for some beer after an afternoon of wine tasting. the beer is really good, we had the sampler of Black Market's Quadrophenia, Aftershock's Faultline, Ironfire's Synnar Pale Ale, Wien Brewing's Front Street Lager and Aftershock's Jessy James. They were all pretty good.

the ambiance here is really chill and they have happy hour everyday from 4-6pm. oh! if you check in on yelp, it's another 10% off your bill ;)

Hubby and I went here today on our 'date night'. We happened to stop by while we were walking around old town temecula. The beer selection is great. No mass production beers here, so if you're looking for a cheap coors or bud, you won't find it here. Thank goodness! All the beers are handcrafted, local/regional brews.  I tried the Black Market Hef made right here in the Temcula valley. It was delicious. The service was fast and super friendly. There were only a few other people, but it was perfect! Quiet, relaxing, and fun! A great place to enjoy a beer on a date :)

However, if you have issues with not being the center of attention, peace and quiet, and a relaxing atmosphere you may want to visit a different part of town on a weekday. some people feel 'socially awkward' when they're in a serene environment and we wouldn't want that.

If youre like myself and many others then you will love this quiet bar on a weekday and all of their delicious local craft brews.

A cool spot in the middle of downtown. The atmosphere is really nice and both sides of the place feel cohesive but the wine side has it's own feel and the beer side has it's own feel. Pretty cool.
The wine selection is great, its all local and really good.
Beer is where Im at though and I love it here. All southern california micro brews. They have two of my new favorite breweries Iron Fire and Aftershock. They also have Stone, Hanger 24, Iron Fist and are tapping more all the time. 30 taps all local, yes please.
I havent personally tried the food but everyone else at the table had good things to say about it.
It is a very nice place to be able to spend some time working through the list of whatever you want to drink.
