I have been here 3 times, and am not a huge fan. Â The ambience of the restaurant area is really nice, high ceilings, huge windows, a great feel to the place. Â I have eaten the buffet twice and lunch once. Â The buffet was nothing to write home about. Â Average brunch buffet. Â The lunch food was average as well. Â This place could be really awesome. Â It is a great setting, on a beautiful property. Â They have the right idea, with using fresh ingredients fresh baked bread etc.
Review Source:While we came to the actual "Shrine of the Lady Guadalupe" as a joke, we were pleasantly surprised! Â Nestled in the corner adjacent to the parking lot we found this cute little restaurant. Â This would be the perfect little place for a rehearsal dinner or a private party! Â It's very charming inside, and looks really romantic (if you can be romantic in a churchy type of place!).
I was really impressed by the food, and the salads and sandwiches they have are more "gourmet" than they are mainstreamed. Â I had a salad, and it was evident that a lot of TLC was given thought to the creation and compilation of the salad. Â They also have a variety of home made desserts--the cookies were great!
I hear they have a wicked awesome brunch on Sunday morning. Â If I'm back up in LAX on a Sunday morning, I'll be sure to stop by to check out brunch!
