We were a little hesitant to come in after the experience we had there before. We heard there were new owners and decide we would give it another shot. We are very glad we did. We came in to a full restaurant. The waitress quickly greeted us. She was very busy but very friendly and quick to refill our drinks! She did not rush us or forget about us even with all those tables. While we were waiting for our food the new owner Larry came over to say hello and thank us for coming. It was nice to see the new owners so involved. His wife was there as well... she was making sure the waitress did not need help. Our food quickly came out surprisingly for the amount of people that were at the restaurant. We had corned beef and cabbage. The food was delicious and a very nice size portion. We asked the waitress about the homemade sauce. She told us how amazing it  was and went off .... but only To bring us back a sample! It really was like mama's. The waitress talked us into delicious cupcakes for dessert. She also told us about karaoke on Fridays and the live music they have on Saturdays. We were there too early to hear the music last night but we will stop by and check it out in the future.  I think dline has a very bright future. Great staff, food and atmosphere! We will be back!!
Review Source:I saw the ad in Pennysaver- under new ownership, serving breakfast, lunch & dinner. We had been looking for a new breakfast place, so we tried it on a Sunday morning. I like it and we will return. Perfect? No. But everyone is allowed to work out the kinks. There was one waitress to serve all the tables; they probably could use another. The coffee was really good, and I am a coffee snob. The western omelette was good, perhaps a tiny bit light on the peppers onions and ham. I would like the homefries to be better, and my toast was first forgotten, then delivered without even being buttered, but I will give the waitress a pass on that one; like I said, there was too much for one to tend to. This was a promising place, and my wife and I will definitely return, a sign the new owners are on the right track. In addition to breakfast, I look forward to trying lunch and dinner here as well. Perhaps a diamond in the rough.
Review Source:Ok, where can I start? I went to this place because it was across the street from so-so bar. All I can say this bar capped off a night that started well and went into the crapper. I walk into this place at midnight and the place was filled with 8 customers and 2 employees. When I opened the door everyone stopped and stared at me and watched me walk in. Either I am so damn good looking or these place is for locals and others are not welcome, it was the latter. It took the dyed blonde female bartender 3 mins to serve me. She had to finish her conversation 1st. The male bartender did not even get up from his bar stool the whole time I was there. I asked for a Long Island it was made alright but as soon as she served it I was not checked on, talked to, or offered another drink. If it was not for the young guy who walked in, she would not have made her way back to my end of the bar. She was having too much fun with the regulars. I asked her to make a shot for me that was unique, while she was trying I tried to correct her on the way to make it and I was told "Do you want to come over here and make it yourself since you are such the bar expert?" Needless to say she does not like for others to think her skills are very low. I tried to make amends and buy her a shot and have it with me, she was happy to take the shot but then walked away when I was talking to her. When the young guy next to me wanted a drink but did not know what he wanted, I offered up a "Blue Hawaiian", she said "is that other drink you made up?" with a snotty tone, I said no, then how about a "tequila sunrise?" she said to the guy, "what real drink do you want?" Clearly miss little Blonde with 32 B boobs did not like someone who worked in nightclubs and bars for 8 years showing her up. Now I am no bartender, but even I can make those drinks. I paid my tab and rolled, never to go back again. Did not get food, but I can tell you staff treats the place like its their personal place and dont like outsiders.
