D Note

This is by far the worst place I have ever been to. I wish I could say I had I only let them burn me once, but shame on me: I have lost count!!! Food is a joke, takes forever and tastes like nothing, and that's if your waiter even shows up to take your order.  I honestly wouldn't notice if this place just closed.  Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. To add a cherry on the sundae, the staff is rude as hell. Seriously avoid at all costs!!!!!

Well, where do I start....
Went in for a friends birthday last night. Small get together of about 7 people..

Pros - GREAT live music. Regge band was awesome.
Food was delicious.
Cons - service took FOR-EV-ER. From when we first walked in we all asked each other 'Do we go to the bar, or wait for a server.....?' Between having to shove my glass in a servers face because he forgot my water about a hundred times and my hubby wanting to tab out we literally had to throw ourselves in front of the kid to get his attention. And then trying to tab out a table of seven people who really wanted a check split vs all on one check was a nightmare.

Suggestions - get better trained staff and more of them. Also, update the menu so the servers don't have to say, 'we aren't serving pasta or soup anymore' it looks tacky.  The band and the delicious pizza saved you last night.

So sad to see what has become of a once bastien of old towne Arvada. I don't recall the last time I've received such awful service at a restaurant or bar. We sat at our table for 15 minutes with no one acknowledging us. They weren't mean, just 100% non-existent. I had to go to the bar to get my beverages, food, and ultimately the tab. Why, why, D-note? You used to be wonderful.
