I used to come to this little hole in the wall bar about once a week about 18 months ago. I know the bartender up there so I pretty much drank beers all night for maybe a quarter of the price. The best time to go up there is 4-8 Monday thru Friday due to their VERY cheap happy hour. Beers are nice and cold, no draft though.

The place reminds me a little bit of a smaller Fat Tuesday's with all the margarita/daiquiry machines up along the walls of the bar. The place is very dim which gives it that nice lounge experience. On one Thursday night they had some sort of Def Jam Poetry Session, which I actually enjoyed. Some of the performances were quite powerful. Some nights, they have a live bad playing or just a DJ spinning some dance music. Its a nice change of pace from the nightlife I'm used to. And of course the 75% off drinks Blake hooks me up with doesn't hurt. For something different and out for the ordinary, I recommend it.
