The burger was the best I ever had. The fries were real and not the frozen kind you'd get at a subshop.
This was my first time here, I came for the karaoke. (I know the host) upon entering I noticed the warm red on the wall and dark wood. It felt cosy. There is even a couch in the corner. Bar section is separate from the low tables but not in a detached way. Good first impression. The waitress was super friendly and accommodating. (i tend to be picky) I got the cheese steak and a tequila Caesar salad. Yummy! Huge cheese steak sub. The bf got a pulled pork sandwich and fries. He seemed very happy. (it only lasted a few minutes before it was devoured) :) we will come back! It is also family friendly and plan to bring my son another night to sing a song.
Nice crowd for a Thursday night.
I can't help but feel insulted when I pay for food that is mediocre at best. Â The wings were tiny=teenie tiny and were just ok tasting. The french fries with gravy were not as good as you would get at say, a sub shop. The food is overpriced. I should have saved my money. The name is misleading. This is a bar. The "wine shoppe" is not open. The pictures of the place on the internet are not an accurate depiction.
The plusses were: Â They had a guitarist performing=nice. The margaritas were quite tasty.
