I have always lived in a city with a Chine Town, which means the food is a cut above city's with out one! What a surprise a good Chinese buffet! No I have not lost my mind, it is really quite good. The food is fresh and for the most quite taste. I'm not a fan of the BBQ pork seemed to be a little under done and lacked spice. Spic e would be the missing factor, the foods is made for white bread folk's. But that did not chase me way the freshness made up for the low spice. The food was not from the freezer and looked to be made in house even the stuff like dumplings, crab rag., and egg rolls, with seem at most places to be all the same. The food trays where being filled the whole time I was eating and they did have a good flow of people.
Live well and eat well and please no chains!
This restaurant is ok for the price, but not great. Â We came for the lunch buffet on a Saturday. Â Food was ok...good spring rolls, soup and pot stickers..nice thin dough on them. Â First time I had fried Coconut milk..that was yummy. Â Also, the fish was surprisingly good. Green beans were good. Â Attendants kept a very close eye on the food on the warming table, stirring frequently and ordering when running low. Â Dessert was not memorable--the fresh fruit was fresh, the rest typical. Â Was missing the sugar coated nuts and those heart shaped cookies that are a usual staple of most buffets. Â
So, in conclusion, it wasn't horrible, but it wasn't great...it was ok.

The competion is great here in Indy. (As every other city. Â Big cities have an advantage of raising the bar.) Â Every other strip mall here has an Asian restaurant, whether Thai, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, or etc. Â Every customer has different tastes. Ex: Â Personally, I don't like fish sauce. Â I have done some research and there are very mild fish sauces, and w/that, I cut it in half when I cook.
Positives for this one: Â Â
They do have alot on their buffet. Â Your drink comes w/ the meal. Â -and their price is affordable. Â They have mai fun (rice noodles w/a great flavor). Â In fact, they have alot of noodles&rice, mai fun, another flavorful asian rice noodle, lo mein, fried rice & white rice. Â Their eggrolls are the little crunchy ones, opposed to the fat thick skinned tastless ones. Â They have Bourbon chicken which isn't usually served, but my guy loves. Â And they have all the usuals, rangoon, sesame chic, gen t's chic, Hunan
meatballs, sw&sour chic, veggie dish w/lots of broccali, many others etc
Negatives: Â It just doesn't jump out at me. Â --but it's by no means yuk. Â
If you want a good and affordable Chinese buffet in a roomy clean facility, this is definitely one to try!
We eat here once a month or more. Barry and Rosa have owned the restaurant for a number of years and one or both are always on site. For buffet food this place is great. The buffet table is small compared to many restaurants, but that allows them to monitor the food quality. Although not a large selection, there is enough variety to have diferent tastes and textures for an interesting meal. Â Nothing sits on the buffet for long periods of time like many Chinese buffets. The restaurant draws a lot or regulars who appreciate the consistancy and quality of the food. They also do a good carry out business and you can order from the menu if you prefer. Drinks are included in the price. They get 5 stars for food quality, consistancy, cleanliness, and owner attention to detail.

If you're like me, you walk into a Chinese buffet expecting some of the usual suspects when it comes to the food, this place delivers that but also some extra's that you don't see everywhere else. For example, fried coconut milk and lettuce wraps. Listen, it's a Chinese buffet, you're not going to leave this place with your head hung high, you're going to leave in pure Chinese buffet shame....BUT you will be happy! If you are in the area and needing a buffet fix definitely check this place out!
Review Source:I've been going to Dragon House since they opened their doors over a decade ago. Barry and Rosa, the couple that owns the restaurant, are excellent hosts. They are always hospitable, gracious, and make such an effort to get to know their customers. And the food...I'm not usually a huge fan of buffets, but this buffet is so good! Potstickers, lettuce wraps, egg drop soup, eggrolls, Cashew chicken, sweet and sour...all delicious. They offer both a lunch and dinner buffet. Lunch is 7.25 and dinner is 9.25. Great price for the selection and quality. I absolutely love this place for so many reasons, and it's obvious the rest of Fishers does too.

Came here the other day with my wife and son. Â I had a craving for a Chinese buffet, and these place had coupons, so I figured why not. Â I'm not going to go into such great detail, but this place is your typical Chinese buffet. Â They have the standard dishes (lo mein, general's chicken, bourbon chicken, etc...). Â Dessert selection is small, and salad selection is almost non-existent, but if you're going to a Chinese buffet for these items, you are sadly mistaken.
6.99 for lunch, which includes a drink, and 8.99 for dinner. Â They also have lunch specials ranging from 5.25-6.00. Â Snag a coupon online to drop that down a bit.
Overall- it satiates the Chinese craving, but nothing to write home about. Â

This is the best Chinese buffet I've found on the north side! Â We go almost every week with the kids. Â The food is freshest during typical lunch & dinner times but they're open all afternoon. Â The price is reasonable (includes fountain drinks & desserts) and you can order off the menu if you prefer.
